The food is excellent. The room is great. But the gym is super small and not top notch as I expected. The elevator seems old. The pool was closed due to renovations when we were there for 2 weeks, so couldn’t see it. And also the lights when on every night which we reported to the concierge but didn’t or couldn’t solve it, so for 2 weeks we woke up in the middle of the night because the lights turned on. A side of that the hotel is very nice, could use a renovation. But the location is incredible, super quiet, 10- 15 minute walking to rodeo drive and all the stores and restaurants.

The gym, the fact that the pool was closed, also they only have a draining massage in the spa, I couldn’t believe that. And the amenities in general could use an update.

Fantastic property and would choose to stay here all over again! Does not feel touristy and a destination to just browse as some other top Beverly Hills properties have become. Instead; it is beautifully decorated, extremely chic and the most thoughtful staff one could wish for. We have stayed in some of the most fabulous hotels around the world and L’Ermitage is at the top level. Refined cuisine, top notch housekeeping, noise insulation and an extremely professional front desk and chauffeur service. Thank you again!

The hotel has a very cosy feel and everything felt very personalised. The rooms are Luxe, spacious and well appointed. The balcony is a bonus. But what made this hotel stand out for us, was the service. The staff were all amazing and always obliged. There was nothing they could not do for us.

The cafe looked a bit dull to me. It's a nice space, they could easily improve it.

-Luxury and elegant hotel, with cosy, boutique hotel feel. -Loved that my pillow case had my initials embroidered - lovely little details! -Spacious room with great views. -Tentative staff.

-Windows are not sound proof, noise from the street such as ambulance or loud cars could be heard. -Room furniture needs an upgrade (carpets are stained in several spots, bedside tables are chipped, desk chair's leather is torn/ scratched) -Old tv screen, old hair dryer..

I've been coming to LA for 10 years and usually stay in hotels near where I have appointments, but I have never come across L‘Érmitage until now. I have to say, the only thing that bothered me is that I didn't discover this place sooner. The suite is amazing: spacious, with beautiful details, making it a perfect place to feel comfortable. Thoughtful touches like the fruit, water and note at check-in, super-fast bell service, and valet staff make all the difference, turning a great experience into a perfect one, and this hotel is worth every penny. The view from my particular suite wasn’t the nicest, as it faced the backyard, but at least there was a balcony. And the pool was still under construction, but I knew about this. Everyone was very attentive and helpful, especially Gus. I will definitely be coming back.

I literally have nothing bad to say about this place, I absolutely loved it! I stayed two nights, and truly did not want to leave to go to the airport. The room was absolutely amazing, so much space and the bed was beyond comfortable. The in room dining was great too, I ordered breakfast on both days and it was fantastic. Truly the whole thing exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were also so lovely and helpful. It's also about a 15 min walk to Rodeo Dr from here if you don't want to be stuck in traffic!

There was nothing not to like!

The staff was phenomenal. Stevie is an asset to the hotel, i would return to the hotel solely based on the time she took to build a strong guest relationship. Drew & Tatum who were bartending and working the restaurant were INCREDIBLE as well. You just can’t go wrong the such a beautiful property and the best staff I’ve ever experienced in Los Angeles and I’ve stayed at almost every luxury hotel there is in the city. Thank you. Cant wait to visit again!

absolutely nothing.

If was very, clean, luxurious, everything was perfect. The only thing I would say about the suites (which I loved), is that they have a certain humid smell, like if the room was underground and stuffy with a humid smell. However I did purchase a few air wick plug ins that helped and also I turned on the AC to colder and helped with the rooms. Overall I would stay again here it is very nice hotel. And the staff where amazing !

Great hotel. Feels new, well decorated and thought through. I loved the updated lounge area and the outdoor patio. The rooms are a good size and staff are truly helpful. If you don’t have much of a view from the room, check out the gym. Definitely staying here again on our next trip to LA.

The sound isolation could be improved between rooms.

Excellent service, right on the arrival I was offered a late check out free of charge. This shows how smart their property management is. They satisfy both customer experience, as well as ensure that guests spend money/time on extras (while otherwise there would be no guest at all). Rooms are clean, excellent Frette bedding, bathrobes, great minibar. The suit was really comfortable and well thought through with all the little details! The stuff was overall very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent if you plan to spend some time shopping/hanging in Beverly Hills.

I think the pool areas requires modernisation, it is quite a small space (so making it more spacious, potentially, otherwise just refurbishing). There is a large empty area, which I guess is used for the events, but it would makes sense to repurpose it in a way that it does not look abandoned (at times with no events). It felt a bit off in comparison with 5-star experience in other areas. I was also not too impressed with quality of meals, both room service and restaurant. Ordered pasta with butter and cheese for a kid, everything was swimming in the butter and the portion/presentation looked like I got it from a cantina. On the breakfast, I ordered fresh fruit, they were not really fresh, coffee/cappuccino also requires an improvement.
