Room was good, but very humid. something we could not remedy. liked the location of the pool, in the center of hotel, with all rooms outside of it. Location of hotel was ok as far as proximity to other sites, but felt a little "sketchy" with some of the characters around. Good diner attached to hotel. not same ownership.

I liked having secure parking, but did not like the idea of valet for every interaction with my vehicle. felt good for safety, but the price is pretty high, and having to ask for your vehicle every time seemed odd, especially with expected tip at each time.

Great location with excellent public transit connections (walking distance to metro and dash and bus stops right in front of the hotel. Super comfortable bed. Spacious room and bathroom (was in an executive king room). Helpful staff. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. The diner in the restaurant was delicious for breakfast with wide and varied menu. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The room was very well laid out with room for luggage and the bathroom had room for toiletries around the sink and a shelf in the shower. The shower was very large. Another huge plus for me was the filtered water bottle refill station in the hallway!

Want more spots to hang towels.

The location and boutique feel as well as the history. Lilly’s and Clark St. Diner!!! Having on-site parking is awesome!

It’s not really a dislike but our room had no place to hang clothes, no iron and no ironing board. And so think we were in a remodeled room! Bathrooms are great thought! The refrigerator was loud and looks like something we bought overseas!!! And all of the coffee provided was decaf! Elevator needs some attention!

The location of the hotel was excellent, walking distance to the walk of fame, TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Bowl (about 40 mins). Easy access to Metro and buses which are great for some locations you may want to visit, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Westfield shopping, the Original Farmers market (the Grove), Griffith park, and will cost €1.75 each per journey. Buy a tap card at Vine St station and top it up when needed. Public transport is very safe. We read reviews which were very negative towards it, but this is not true, it is absolutely fine. Uber is also very reliable if you prefer or for those journeys that are too difficult by metro or bus like Universal Studios, Warner Bros. We got an Uber to the start of the trek of the Hollywood sign for $11, and then we walked back to the hotel, which took an hour and a half, from the sign. There is a diner next door to the Hotel which is decent, we had breakfast there a couple of mornings. Eggs Benedict will cost around $18. There are a few other places we liked for breakfast, the Breakfast Club and iHop (which is a bit of a walk away) We found dining in the area not great, but maybe that’s just because we didn’t know where to look, we normally ate wherever we were visiting that day. Eating is that bit more expensive to the UK or Ireland. Staff everywhere in LA are very friendly and welcoming. The staff at the Adler Hotel were exceptional, especially one person, of whom I didn’t get his name. He was so helpful with advice and directions, and anything we needed. He even had plastic cutlery on the ready for when my daughters order their Chipotle takeout and forgot to ask for cutlery. He really did make our stay enjoyable. Everything about the hotel was great, the rooms were a bit small for the three of us as the beds took up most of the space, so not much room to walk around. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom very big and lovely shower. We had a hairdryer and iron in the room.

The rooms were a little small with two beds, making it difficult to move around as there were three of us sharing The air-con is loud, but this didn’t bother us as we were so tired from all our walking during the day, and the beds are so comfy ☺️

The hotel is well located. The Hollywood/Vine station is close, like 5 or 6 blocks. The hotel restaurant is good but If you want other options you can go to the Hollywood Ave. If is breakfast there is a Dunkin’ Donuts in the avenue. There is also a store very close to the hotel in case you need something else. Rooms are big and nice with AC. Cleaning service is not included so you may have to collect your bags and drop them in a bin at the end of your hall. Even that all looks comfortable and clean. Is good value. I didn’t go to the pool so I can’t say anything about that. I went with my wife and my baby. The only thing you have to be safe is when you cross under the bridge to go to the Hollywood Ave.

It was comfortable and pretty and the bathroom was huge and really nice. The staff was nice. The attached dinner had a really nice breakfast, and it seemed to be a really popular diner in the area. The location was perfect! We walked around Hollywood without having to worry about parking, and the two days we went to Universal Studios, it was a super short and easy drive.

Our bathroom window was wedged open, but the temperature was so mild that we didn't really think about it. Also, you have to pay extra for valet parking everyday, no choice for free parking. I really think that parking should be included at a hotel.

The room we booked was awesome. So much space that helped us having a good time when going back to the hotel. The parking is really good (but very expensive) and the staff is really nice. There's also a restaurant in the hotel that is not too expensive and have good meals. Also, if you want to go to the Universal Studios, it's an awesome option, as it's so close to it (10 minutes by car). It's also reaaaally close to the walk of fame (5 minutes by car)

The only thing that I would complain is about the shower. Everytime we need to take shower it took tooooo much time to heat the water, so there were some days we needed to wake up 15 minutes before we would like to just to wait for the water to be at least ok to start our shower (we do not like to waste water this much).

Rooms were quirky and spacious with microwave and fridge. Our room had view of Hollywood sign and the observatory. Pool lovely. Free parking available on street outside. Great location if you have a car but can easily walk to Hollywood Boulevard from hotel.

No breakfast and bar was super expensive.

The rooms appear to have been redone very recently. Everything is spotless. Plenty of pillows, bathroom amenities like soap, shower gel, and conditioner - which I did not expect at this price point. The central pool is a nice touch, a traditional LA layout that you will find in many residential compounds too. I have stayed at all the major chains in the area over the years, and this is far and away the best value and not too far off from the +$500 hard products that other hotels in the vicinity offer.

I am really nitpicking, but due to American construction standards, the windows aren't particularly soundproof - I didn't mind, but if you are a very, very light sleeper, you may want to request a room facing away from the main street and adjacent freeway. My only real complaint is that my room had a bathroom window that appeared to have been stuck and couldn't be closed from either the inside or the outside. This also caused a bit of unnecessary noise from the courtyard/pool area to enter the room. This should be an easy fix for maintenance staff.

LOVED the ambiance and the room's decor. The beds were also very comfortable and the public spaces were lovely. The valet was very kind and friendly and the front desk clerk who checked us out was wonderful as well.

I thought the bathroom lighting was especially dark and early in the morning the sun made it hard to see in the mirror because of the glare but this issue was quickly resolved by using the mirror provided setting it up on the table near the windows in the room. Also, there were no water bottles or vending machines to get water, so I had to run across the street to a market at 10:30 p.m.
