Pros: Excellent location in West Hollywood, near Beverly Hills. Very modern, colorful, and clean building. The room was decently sized and comfortable, particularly for one person. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room temperature could be adequately adjusted. The room had great lighting as well as great natural light. The bathroom was clean and the shower's water pressure and temperature were top-notch! Dining at Merois (whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner) was excellent. Hotel staff were very attentive and friendly, particularly in the front desk and at the restaurant. The hotel has a 2-lane bowling alley, a cinema room, a champagne vending machine, a rooftop pool, and 4 Cadillacs for complementary use (for a maximum of 4 hours).

Cons: The pool is not heated, which can be a bummer on cloudy/colder days. I didn't have time to use the bowling alley, but I'm sure that's a lot of fun.

The staff was extremely welcoming. Right from Tiffany who checked us in, to Adrienne the Concierge who helped me get a salon appt booking at the nth hour, Dylo the happy smiling valet, as well as the housekeeping staff all were very sweet. The location is lovely the hotel has a beautiful pool that we visited but could not use as we were busy on the road. The Beds were super comfortable and the mattresses amazing.

The Bathroom showers were not well fitted and so when one had a shower the entire area around and outside the bath would get wet. Also the 75$ per night for Valet is a bit steep.

- Would have liked a bath (as there was definitely loads of space in the bathroom), but I think these are rare in the location anyway. - The new management has ended the free car service which was advertised at the time of booking, but we were able to get Ubers everywhere pretty easily

We booked this hotel as a base for exploring LA while visiting for a show at the Peacock Theatre and it was pretty close to perfect. Starting with the location, its on the hills in West Hollywood, and on its front door is a bus stop for the 2 Bus, which goes all up and down Sunset Boulevard. Super handy if you want to get to places like the Chinese Theatre / Downtown in one direct or Santa Monica beach in the other direction. When we arrived at the hotel, it has beautiful decor and the staff are incredibly friendly. Without the bus stops the location is a bit out of the way if you dont drive, but its a nice area and LA is so massive that any hotel could be considered "out of the way" if your not right next to where you need to go. The hotel is at the top of quite a large hill too as a heads up for those who enjoying walking. The receptionist ran through a list of amenities that some of which were available that we weren't aware of, but are amazing. These include a rooftop pool, a cinema room showing select films each evening, a two lane bowling alley in the basement, an on site spa with treatments and the ability to rent a car (a Cadillac no less!) at no charge from the hotel for up to 4 hours (LA is not walkable at all overall, so this is good for drivers). All these great features were a surprise to us, but really made the hotel feel special. The restaurant for dinner / breakfast is on the roof with beautiful views of LA, and is heated during the night in case it gets windy. The room was a great size, clean and perfect for a stay. It included a range of paid amenities and a fridge available for use for free. The hotel staff were always willing to help with local information and tips and they seemed to have a 24/7 reception / door staff service. Overall the hotel made our trip a fantastic stay, and if we were to visit LA in this particular area we would definitely look to come back

Overall good location, easy to reach some popular areas by walk either by car. Good rooms, cool amenities, very good breakfasts, good bars. Some of the reception guys are extremely funky, friendly and smart

Some of the personnel definitley need training, room cleanliness once was very poor (pointed out to hotel management), unexpected civil works and noise on the checked floor. Poorest check out experience ever (see personnel reference). Not going to give a second chance during next stay, sorry.

- The location is so great. There are restaurants and bars around and one of the best comedy clubs right across the road! - The staff are so friendly and helpful - The facilities are great - Roof top pool, Bowling Alley (though we didn't use) - Beautiful interiors

- The steam room in the spa wasn't very strong and the shower pressure was not very strong. That could be improved! - I am not too sure about the small bottle water. It would be good to have a water refill station next to the citrus tea. Though the bottle water is free, creating so much plastic wastage seems bit unnecessary to me.

Wow, what an amazing place. If you are contemplating about booking here - JUST DO IT! It’s amazing. From the moment you enter, it’s so beautiful, the staff are so lovely and will help you by any means. It all looks exactly like the pictures, new, fresh and clean! The location is also amazing. Close to everything in the western end/ Beverly Hills. They have some fun ping pong and bowling too. Not to mention the historic house of blues that sat here many years ago! I loved our stay here. Thank you so much to the Pendry. We’ll definitely be back.

Having arrived in LA at the last minute we decided to book the Pendry due to issues with our current booking. We arrived to the hotel within an hour of booking and the check in process was efficient and extremely welcoming. The room itself was of a very high standard with amazing views across LA and very much to a 5 star standard. The property was in an amazing location on sunset blvd and also had a really gym and amazing roof top pool and restaurant. This was our first experience at a Pendry hotel and we certainly will be using these again. Overall an amazing expereince.

The Pendry is a fantastic hotel located on Sunset Boulevard. It's a modern hotel with a cool LA vibe. There is a chic roof top bar and Asian fusion restaurant which sit beside the roof top pool that overlooks the city. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but they were polite, courteous and attentive whenever we did. The bedroom was lovely - the bed was extremely comfy and we loved the powerful shower!

There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel but don't expect your room to be overly large. Our room was 360sq.ft and ample and I guess typical of a city centre hotel room. The ground floor bar closed at 5pm which we thought strange and was a shame because it looked great - the roof top bar is open until late so this was only a first world problem!
