Excellent hotel! We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga, CA. We stayed at this hotel in Mountain View and found it to be most centrally located. There are tons of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The free breakfast is very good. We always started our day with bagels, toast, fruits, coffee, and more. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were delighted that this hotel had a Tesla Charging station for the Tesla we had rented during our visit. Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and with no road noise. We appreciated the maid service. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at Hotel Vue for 9 nights. It was pretty much what you'd expect for the value. The room was tidy, spacious and well equipped. The bed was reasonably comfortable and very spacious. The particular highlight of my stay was the front of house staff. I'd like to thank Oscar for his friendly service and warm reception. Traveling for business, I hadn't realized I needed the card I booked with online with me onsite. My colleauge arriving a couple days later had the compan card used for the booking. Oscar was kind enough to make an exception and split my bill so I could pay for the initial nights on my own card and then the balance when my colleague arrived. This saved me a lot of stress and hassle and made checking in at 22:00hrs smooth and quick. The front of house staff member Juan was also quite kind when I required a lend of a walking stick after injuring my ankle enabling me to get to the pharmacy far quicker and safer than without. I'd recommend Hotel Vue for the service alone. Thanks for the lovely accomodation!

My only recommendation is to keep the coffee refilled in the lobby as it was quite useful to grab a quick cup in the afternoon or evening but I found it frequently tapped out ;]

Location

If you drive past it, or park in the back late, the back door is locked if you don’t have a key you have to walk around to the front if you have luggage you have to drive. You can only make a right onto el Camino from the back so you have to drive down Camino wait at a light turn around the all the way back wait at a light and turn around and then just don’t miss the driveway it comes up quick in the dark lol and the room I was in has only a sheer curtain had to put a sheet across the back balcony sliding doors window area.

So when I walked in with my husband the 1st thing we saw was 2 sinks....none of us was expecting that but we both loved it. let's face it I'm a total sink hog! This place is at a great location very close to the Winchester Muesme and other Downtown activities. Our room was very clean, and they seemed to have given us extra towels but neither of us minded. Parking is free Thank GOD! It's a quiet area. So, if sound easily wakes you up believe me you will sleep well here. The TV gave great sound and the wifi was on point NOTHING slowed down which is AWESOME!!!!!! Do you know how many hotels we have been at where the wifi was so bad it either slowed down or stopped working? A LOT but not here!

The only thing I will grade harshly is the bed. It was WAY too firm for me and it hurt my sides. I had to shove pillows under my hips so give it something. and parking is a little tight! do not come here if you have a VERY BIG CAR/SUV.

I had booked the rooms for myself and 2 family members (it was a bit of confusion with the staff because I had gone in early to confirm all was set, and they said I only had 1 Room reserved....eeks!!) I did have the 2 rooms booked under my name, but the 2nd room was under my family's names. Needless to say, it all worked out and our rooms were a few doors away from each other but was just right accommodations (I had requested rooms next to each other for me and my family, and realized it was busy time of year) and it was just fine a few doors away and on the same floor. It worked out so well and the staff was friendly to the point asking if there is anything they could do please feel free to ask! Made our stay so perfect (Needless to say in Mt. View at this time of year the price was a fantastic deal) I will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Things were good. Bed was comfortable, lighting was pretty good, when using available lights in room. It met my expectations and the location worked for me.

Breakfast station could use a small frig to house the yogurt, milk, OJ, etc., so that front desk personnel do not have to be interrupted to get current guests something for breakfast. On the flip side, guests should not have to wait on desk personnel to get basic (expected) foods for breakfast; just diminishes the morning experience. Maybe having a list of things that are available on request, would help guests get what they want in one request to the front desk.

The hotel location is pretty good, near the mountain view downtown (by car). And the check-in & check-out process is super straightforward, each within a minute. The room is pretty spacious, and the noise control is acceptable, didn't make me hard to sleep.

some of the facilities are torn and need to be fixed, but considering that the budget oriented hotel, it's not a big deal.

The breakfast was pretty basic but I was happy enough with it as it was included with the room price. The breakfast room is a little small but had all the things I needed like cereal, coffee, orange juice. fruit, croissants and bread. There was also a sausage muffin option which was quite tasty. The staff worked well to keep everything topped up. All in all it was not fancy but suited me fine.

The hotel is a bit dated but very clean.

Insanely convenient location (very close to San Francisco for a very low price compared to others in the area), lots of parking available right in front of the hotel (free), free breakfast, clean and comfortable, safe and quiet

Breakfast wasn't continental (like it said on the website) it's a jimmy dean frozen sandwich and some snacks and juice options

The staff were very polite and friendly. It was a good location for what we wanted. There was breakfast until 10 am every morning. Overall it wasn’t an unpleasant stay. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.

I requested more coffee be brought to the room for the next morning and it was not brought up. The beds were not as soft as I would have liked them to be. The balcony was not a balcony.
