Beautiful outside garden with amazing views. The house is clean and well equipped. The caretaker, Lisa went out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. She made delicious breakfasts, even though we had a number of dietary restrictions. Lisa had also great suggestions for day trips. She made the whole stay very enjoyable. Would stay again!

The description of the room on the Booking website didn't correspond to the actual room we were assigned. We booked the King Room that was listed as 500 sq. ft with a hot tub. At check-in the owner assigned us the a garden room, which was lovely but not what we booked. When we pointed out the problem, the owner did honer the reservation and "upgraded us". If the description was clear, we would have booked it to start with. We suggested that they exchange the descriptions of the Superior King Room and Standard Suite, which was listed 161 sq. ft. and lacked photos. However, at the time of writing this review (2 weeks later) the incorrect descriptions are still there.

On the first night, we stayed in private accommodation. We loved the bed and the casual feel of the place. We even saw deer by the road! For the next two nights, we stayed in HRM, and it was worth the views. You won't get views like this in the city. We were VERY impressed with Lisa. She took care of all the details, made sure everything was in perfect order, made a cake for my birthday (she MADE it, she did not buy it!), brought me flowers, and, in our opinion, Lisa is the reason our stay was as wonderful as it was. HRM is a great place to stay, and Lisa is a tremendous asset to the property owners!

Paso Robles is an area reminiscent of the hills of Tuscany surrounding a small, vibrant upscale city. It is known for its vineyards and moderate climate. My wife and I planned to spend two nights in the area. It was our first time there, so we chose to spend one night in Cambria on the Pacific coast and one night inland at High Ridge Manor (HRM). The property is located in the rolling hills of ranch country far from anything commercial. We were greeted by one of the proprietors who offered us wine and a snack then showed us to our room. It was a scorching hot day so she turned on the room's through the wall air conditioner which worked well to cool our lower level room. The main floor of HRM is a large open space with a huge TV at one end and a kitchen at the other. Also, there are wonderful wineries within a half hour radius. There is a swimming pool with a hot tub, outdoor barbecue, a chicken coop, and a pomegranate tree. In the morning, our host made us a delicious breakfast. Lots of great memories!

This is a large house with many bedrooms. Ours had a separate entrance at ground level from the back of the house. We faced west, so watching the sun set over the rolling hills was our entertainment for the evening. The property needed some attention, but not enough to be discouraging to a prospective guest. We were hoping to use our in-room Jacuzzi, but there did not seem to be any hot water nor could we work the drain stopper. A wooden bench on our little patio was so weathered it was disintegrating. These were minor issues as High Ridge Manor is definitely worth a visit.

Very quiet and peaceful location that wasn’t too far away from Paso Robles proper. Perfect place to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Shayne was a very accommodating and friendly host.

It wasn’t quite warm enough to fully make use of the pool and we didn’t have enough time to use the hot tub but these were on us, not on Shayne or the property.

The vibe here is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were treated with the kind of top-notch service that truly sets a place apart. Every detail was taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Host was polite in asking us about any allergies or preferences. And allowed us to bring our own snacks. Beautiful gardens and beautiful sites on top of the ridge.

Just a comment. The place is not too close to town so it is best to go to town first and plan to enjoy the evening at this place.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is great for quiet country time but still close enough (15 minutes or so) from the town and all the restaurants, etc. House is really spacious and well appointed. Would be an excellent place for a group to rent completely.

Shane was an awesome host. The property was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were very clean and welcoming. Very close to Sensorio light show which was the reason for our travel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to this area!

Just passing through on a drive down the California coast. Last minute booking turned out to be easy, convenient, and perfect for a night of rest. Would have loved to stay to enjoy the property longer- will definitely be back for an intentional vacation to this property. Owners are lovely. Manager quickly whipped us up some food since we got in after most restaurants were closed. Best service, beautiful property

There was no breakfast. The facility was beautiful.

Booking.com did not tell the facility that I was coming. But they still accommodated me wonderfully.
