The staff did a great job keeping the room/ property clean and we saw security walking around so we felt safe

One block over is a bad neighbourhood, we were lucky to have the ability to drive with our own car to places we wanted to visit but wouldn’t recommend walking outside beyond the property

Room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Nice sized room, comfortable king bed. Water provided. Keurig type coffee maker was a plus. They also provided large bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Fluffy and oversized towels provided too. Staff was helpful and efficient. Overall, I was very happy with the room. See one negative comment below. I will probably stay here again next year. It is centrally located to my stops in Burbank and Warner Center.

There is no microwave in the room. The staff said they would bring one if I had asked. After dark, the area seemed a little dicey for a solo woman traveler. But once on the property, it was safe. There is no meal option for breakfast. There is a Denny's immediately next door.

It is nicely tucked away from the very busy road and freeway. The proximity to the freeway means easy access around the city. The landscaping is lovely, and the rooms are nice. The hotel feels safe and comfortable, though there is definitely noise from traffic and people outside. There is a nice laundry room, and there is a pool and hot tub! The staff is super nice and helpful!

Parking is $14/day per car, and they charge a $40 daily pet fee with no limit (so if you're staying more than a couple of nights, that could really add up). The walkways are super slippery when wet (dripping water from the pool/landscape means they're often a little wet). The coffee machine in the room is meh, but there is a big coffee maker in the lobby.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome—friendly smiles at the front desk, quick check-in, and thoughtful service throughout my stay. The lobby had a versatile coffee make that creates hot chocolate, coffee, vanilla lattes etc. My room was spotless, stylish, and surprisingly spacious, with a plush bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. The in-room amenities, including a coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi, and a smart TV, were exactly what I needed. One of the best parts? The location. Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, the hotel is steps away from fantastic restaurants, boutique shops, and quick access to the 101 freeway. It’s a perfect home base whether you’re exploring Los Angeles or just soaking up the local scene. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a hidden gem in Sherman Oaks. The bed was heavenly. The 5 short pillows were ultra comfy. Petfect bed. Everything was super clean and tidy. Suggestion...have your plumber turn the shower handle. You will notice water squirting from the handle itself before water reaches the shower head. Your landscaping is attractive. I like the old travel lodge style hotels. Easy to get in and out of, just pull up to the door. No long walks through halls and elevators. Nice job updating.

Fix the shower in room 124 so it turns on right away. Long delay with water squirting out of the handle. Put a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Everything about our stay is great. Please want to let everyone know - the care and attentiveness of the workers here are outstanding.

So much gratitude and gratefulness to the workers on site tonight 1/12/25 - I want to thank Colton and Yovany ( spelling ) for their efforts tonight to help our family . It has been a stressful time as we have been evacuated like many others. Their care and kindness to strangers and professionalism in hospitality is above and beyond. Especially for my son and I , in multiple ways. Thank you Best Western for your amazing team here in Sherman oaks. Please also extend my gratitude to the kind gentleman who replaced my keys for me at the front desk tonight. My son and I are so grateful for the staff tonight.

Great location, and the grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the beds were cozy.

I didn’t like the surprise add ons to my bill. I don’t mind having to pay for things but I would appreciate knowing beforehand. There was a $13 parking fee and an $80 room deposit. It would have been nice to know all these fees up front, especially when you’re on a budget. The only thing we didn’t have access to was a water dispenser because it was broken. Water was only available from the vending machine at $4 a bottle.

The place is clean. Security on site and easy access to both freeways 101 and 405. Overall this place is for people who are vacationing with family or work.

I usually get rooms around the area when I work overnight so I don’t take the long drive home. It’s a bit pricey for just one night. Bunch of misbehaving children running around and stomping on the seconds floor. Tight parking spaces. Parking fee. No a single designated smoking area. Overall for me that only slept for like 4hrs and didn’t even stay in the room it wasn’t worth it. For those traveling or visiting LA this is a good place to stay as the area is alright and they got security on site.

The room was beautiful and clean. Ultimately and a nights sleep this is all a person really needs. The hot tub and swimming pool after a long drive was perfect for my family.

Booking said that breakfast is available. Typically this means an onsite restaurant. I was not expecting Denny’s to be the restaurant. The parking lot was a bit precarious with no directional signs. Considering the tight corridor I would expect it to have one way traffic on and off the property, but that was not clear. Also, many of the parking spaces were quite tight for an SUV.

The room is sizeable (2 queen beds), 2 sinks: 1 in with the shower and the other outside the bathroom, beds are comfortable, modern TV & remote, mini fridge, coffee maker, A/C, shower head was better than most hotels i stayed in, up to 8 1/2 feet pool was perfect for the 110-degree weather. Other amenities not used: closet with hangers, iron & board, safe, dresser with drawers, sizeable jacuzzi, vending machines & ice machines on property. Universal Studios is about 20 minutes drive. Target nearby with a 7 minutes walk if you prefer.

Check-in the 2 separate times I've gone has had issues with either their system is down or only 1 person manning desk during peak hours. Initial coffee maker not working, no microwave. Didn't care for the body wash, shampoo & conditioner they provide.
