The front desk employees were great - friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

The parking fee (considering I had paid for all 3 rooms for two nights - maybe that could have been comped) - also, Saturday night, we were told the hot tub was closed due to "a chemical imbalance" and should be fixed by Sunday night. Then Sunday night we were told the hot tub heater had been hit by lightening. Not sure if one or both of those reasons was true since it wasn't consistent. Lastly, I received the email about room service and needing to put out the "sign for room service before 8 a.m." at 9:02 a.m. Sunday morning.

Updated, quiet, calm, and clean property fitting the chill Truckee vibes. Kids will love all the hot breakfast options as well as the sunny pool/spa plaza. Most of the staff was friendly or even exceptional. We had a few problems with room keys and a noise issue (not their fault) that staff kindly resolved. Walking distance to a few restaurants. On-site laundry and general store provided exceptional convenience. Heater & a/c worked perfectly. Lots of room to spread out on-site, including a generous Cafe area, library/sunroom, and lovely interior courtyard. 10/10 would stay again.

Rooms are very small (though they come with coffee makers, refrigerators, and microwaves). I think I was overcharged and cannot get an itemized bill, which is frustrating.

EVERYTHING!!! If I could give a higher rating I would! My sister and I went on a little "girls getaway", and we had an absolutely fantastic time, due in large part to our accommodations! The manager, Ben, and his entire staff (including Patricia and Lorenzo in the breakfast area!) were absolutely AWESOME and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests! I cannot wait to stay there again :0)

The only bummer was that the fire pit by the pool was out of commission, as was the hot tub :0( However, these two minor things in NO WAY affected the absolutely FANTASTIC stay we had at Best Western Truckee :0)

Hotel is perfect if you're in Tahoe to ski any of the mountains on the north or west side. No frills, but great location with walkable restaurants and proximity to a great grocery store, as well as downtown Truckee.

The hot tub wasn't working. The pool was warm and was a half-decent replacement...but the hot tub would have been clutch.

We liked the fresh cooked breakfast each morning. The room was perfect...very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the large working hot tub and pool, especially after a long day of skiing.

Last year, we could buy food at the bar area for a quick dinner. We were told is was closed due to staffing shortage. This was too bad.

After staying in several lodging facilities of all kinds for the last three months, this BW+ offered different, delicious, innovative breakfasts! What a relief! The kitchen staff were really friendly and made sure we had all that we needed. The reception staff was also very friendly. Our room was clean and brightly lit by the morning sun. It was also big enough for all our stuff. The outdoor pool was absolutely fantastic! It's large, and very well heated. Unfortunately the hot tub (which looked awesome) was closed. The hotel has a small area where you can sit and read a book or watch the television, and even just look out through the large windows overlooking the pool area. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is very well located, easy to get to, and about 30 min. away from Palisades Tahoe. There is a small plaza just across the street with a Sushi restaurant and a Thai restaurant. Parking at the hotel was sufficient considering the immense snowbanks everywhere. We would definitely come back and stay at this hotel!

Not much! We missed not having the hot tub, but this was not the hotel's fault. Also even though the beds were comfortable, some feathers would poke out once in a while from the duvet mattress topper.

We loved our stay! The breakfast was GREAT! And we really liked the hot tub (long, rectangular shape to accommodate more people without feeling crowded) and pool. Our room was easily accessible from the car for loading and unloading and beds were comfy. Loved the ambiance of the room, with the ski coat rack and log stool/table! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Really nice location. Breakfast was also nice. The room was clean and we selected a room AWAY from the highway (toward the outdoor pool) which was quieter. There are also a few restaurants across the street.

Parking was an extra $10 per night. There really is no reason for them to charge this. The parking is nothing special.

I didn't like that the hot tub was not working. The main reason why i booked with you guys and i wish my curtain could close all the way was a little paranoid being in a new place with a kid other than that everything was great

Mobility accessible room as requested, Well appointed and very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional, and served by very friendly staff . Only negative was no decaf coffee option on the beverage machine. Price was reasonable for the area and good value for the money.

Room was at the far end of the 2nd floor, which seemed a bit ironic for an accessible room. But there was an elevator, so it was not really a problem,
