I got in at 9:45 and the desk clerk was very friendly and expecting me. I locked myself out of my room just before she was leaving and we both laughed about it. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I actually slept without waking up half way like at home. I woke without any pain so that means the bed is a very good one. Breakfast was complimentary and offered enough options. I would absolutely stay here again.

I was already awake but just catching up on social media and the housecleaning personnel were already cleaning the room across from me. It would have woken me up if I wasn’t at 6:45. That was just too early for that kind of noise. But, like I said, I was already awake.

I enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Truckee. My room was large. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. I also liked the breakfast. It had just the right amount of items for a good continental breakfast. I also liked that the Expresso machine was available 24/7. Everything was nicely displayed.

I didn't like that they didn't have a water fountain anywhere in the hotel. There was a water dispenser on the juice machine, but it was only available during breakfast from 6:30 AM- 9:30 AM. I suggest they install a water filling station somewhere in the lobby where people can fill their thermoses or get with drinking water 24/7. In a place with winter sports all around, everyone needs to stay hydrated.

Nice little motel, not fancy and dated but it does the job. Ice machine, snack and drink vending machines in a little room plus coffee machine in breakfast nook. Limited breakfast in am, all bagged/heat items, cereal, juice, yogurt, hard egg, and coffee machine. I felt safe but I travel with a dog. Clean room with fridge and micro which is nice. Close to many amenities and I-80. The prices are high on certain weekends so watch that.

Outside property line needs some cleaning up, make the rest of the place look bad.

Complimentary breakfast had a very nice assortment of foods and beverages. Fireplace in the lobby was nice to sit in front of while drinking hot cocoa or coffee (available all day) after a hard day skiing. Having an on-site coin-op washer and dryer proved very convenient. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Very small hanging clothes "closet" built into TV/refrigerator/microwave cabinet wasn't big enough for bulky ski clothing. Late night traffic noise from Highway 80 could be a bit obtrusive, but I blunted it with a sleep-sound app on my phone.

We had a very positive experience. I love walking into a room and the bed looks so comfortable you can't wait to get in it. Our room was very clean, a good size and a large refrigerator. The staff was so sweet, friendly and accommodating, they even found a cork screw for me. The breakfast options were good and to have a fire going in the fireplace made it that much better. We booked the day of with booking.com and got a great deal, $119.00 total for the night. In Truckee that was a sweet deal.

It wasn't perfect but our experience still exceeded our expectations. Their really wasn't much place to hang up clothes and the vacuum cleaners were extremely noisy, and their will always be people talking loud in the hallways but even so we would definitely come back again and bring our dog!

A cute little laid-back place in a great location. Within walking distance was a shopping area featuring CVS, grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, ski and bike shops. They have a complimentary breakfast from 6:30 am,no kitchen but a selection of microwavable breakfast sandwiches, pastries, coffee, juice, yogurt.

Most places allow you to check in at 3:00 p.m., hear the check-in is 4:00 p.m. earliest, but it's a small place and they probably need that extra time to get the rooms ready.

We’ve stayed the Inn at Truckee before and love the feel of the place. It’s near 2 strip malls where you can find a diner (Indian food!), a drugstore, a grocery store, a laundromat, a sports bar, etc. And the room, tho dated is super clean and comfortable. Convenient to downtown Truckee but away from highway 80 enough to be quiet. Hotel is majorly friendly to people and pets alike!

The hotel is within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants which is very handy. The air-conditioning worked well, and there are several rooms on the ground floor level, great for those with mobility issues. We found it very quiet from the room in which we stayed. It was easy to get into town. I believe there are Ubers available, but we used the TART Connection during our stay. You need to download the TART app, and then it's used very similarly to Uber. This is a free service. We tipped what we figured an Uber ride would be. Every driver we had was friendly and informative. .

Breakfast was very basic. No cereal available. I'd like to see more seating in the breakfast area. We took our coffee back to our room because we couldn't get a seat. The rooms are tired and need some updating.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also quiet, although there was so freeway noise in the background

The bathroom was small and the rugs in the room were old (but clean). We also had a hard time operating the shades of the window.

The staff was exceptional in accommodating our needs (bottom floor, close to entrance/exit door). The room was clean & comfortable. The free breakfast helped us get a good start to our day! We always stay here when we come visit family. Quiet. Recommend!
