The location is very convenient for traveling around SoCal. Though it doesn't look like much from outside, the rooms were very nicely renovated and reasonably quiet. Ample free parking. The owner/manager is beyond friendly and very helpful.

So, Booking lists this as a four-star hotel (at least it can be understood as such), which it really isn't. This means it lacks certain things like a hair dryer, or meal service. That's just something to be aware of, not at all a problem.

The fridge keeps going from cold to warm which in turn makes the ice melt and food spoil. That's it.

The space in the rooms were nice. Staff was amazing and accommodating.

Cigarette smell in the room but can’t help that. Found a toenail on the floor in the bathroom. Can’t help that except a good sweep and disinfecting.

Whittier isn't home to a lot of great motels, but it's safe to say this one in particular definitely stands out. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The vending machines work without any issues. The room smelt of fresh linens and the overall feel to the room was warm and inviting. The parking lot was vast and clean and most importantly -- NOT ONE BUG IN SIGHT. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The hot water wasn't hot for long but that aside- no other complaints.

Very nice well kept in a great part of town . We live far and sometimes need a place to stay for work and this will be our go to spot. We often have had bad experience nothing beats your own bed . But this was nice

Need more soap and a larger towel other than that it was great and there wasn't a extra toilet paper we ran out

The window was cracked and the door dented after I took a walk

I loved being with my hubby. I liked the staff he was nice.

The room was ok, it just wasn't what it said itvwas online. And the other customers were very loud. It's not sound proof and the fixtures were either broken or not finished.

The updates made to the place to make it look nice.

Being told no company in a room I paid for. We are in town to visit family and if they would like to stop by and see me they should have the right to do so. Having to leave a $40 deosit for the room key.
