The parking is very difficult if you have a car with you and you are in fact about one car in the lot. My room is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator and so that made it not difficult but not the most convenient. The facility is very clean and well taken care of, but in fact, it is a very old building. There could be more outlets for plug-ins for electronics but again, a very old building and some things that go with that. The best part about my day was the very helpful and kind and friendly nature of the staff especially Cam! He was the very best and provided great service and help whenever he was there!

They called it continental breakfast but it was much more than that. They had hard boiled eggs, cereal, granola, almond milk, a conveyor belt toaster, and the coffee was really good! The beds were so comfy. I slept great! I LOVED the front desk staff. Rebeka, Ruben, and Cam were always ready to go out of their way to help.

The building is old so my room had a weird smell... the funny thing is I could only smell it for less than a minute so it was actually not a problem. But a little unpleasant upon entering the room. The carpet is old but it's clean so you just have to get used to it. It's not really a problem. I wish they had more outdoor seating at the hotel. I had a balcony which was good but for me it was hot weather and the morning sun hit my balcony. So I didn't sit out there much. I didn't like having such a long door code.

This was a very successful stay. The hotel is very conveniently located and quiet, the rooms were nice, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the TV was huge! We had fun watching the presidential debate. The breakfast was excellent: fresh fruit, waffles, French toast, fresh orange juice, coffee with half-and-half (major points for that!), cereal, and more. The hotel is expensive, but very reasonable for downtown Aspen. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Our only quibble, and it's a minor one, was that the bedding was skimpy. Nothing comfy to pull up under my chin. I will definitely book here again, but will bring a cotton throw for the bed.

We liked having a south facing balcony that had a little view. Beds were comfy and location was great. The happy hour and breakfast were above our expectations. Front desk was very helpful. Nice to have parking, if you could find a spot. We got the last one at the time.

I'm embarrassed I agreed to pay so much for one night but my hands were tied with no other options. The property could use some updates. There's lots of stairs. Balconies need cleaning. Happy hour was too quiet. Needs music.

Good price within walking distance of Aspen Restaurants and shops

You need to make a second account with their booking website "Vacasa". So when you book through booking, they essentially book another separate reservation through Vacasa, for which you'll then need to create an account to agree to their terms. Super clunky and seemed like a phishing scam at first.

Our stay at Aspen Mountain Lodge was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast had a great selection. The lodge was walking distance to town, about 5-10 minute walk to most of our in-town destinations. The bus shuttle to the mountain stops close to the hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Nothing that we can think of.

The cost … yes, it’s Aspen, but charging so much for a place that is really quite budget in quality is troublesome. The photos definitely make it look newer/nicer than it is - and in any other town you’d call this “budget” but the price is not.

Staff were excellent. The Happy Hour food and drinks after skiing were a nice surprise. Really nice atmosphere.

Our room was close to the dining room and area where guests congregated and walls very thin so it was quite noisy .

I appreciated that the room’s refrigerator was actually cold. Hospitality was excellent and the breakfast lay out was more than I expected.

I was disappointed that the little pool and hot tub were not available. But this is nice to have on site. Also, the carpets could use a refreshing, they showed their age, but were clean.

I love the breakfast, excellent customer service, they clean my room everyday, good location to walk or take the free buses. I Highly recommend
