Your front desk clerk Zach was EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment I met him to check in until the night before we checked out! He was kind and welcoming and knew the process for check in which flowed easily for him. We asked him for some recommendations in the area and he gave us some and they were wonderful. There was a moment I was passing through the lobby behind an older man who was saying inappropriate things to his wife and Zach was assisting 3 young Moms holding their kids at the front desk and he was QUICK to apologize for this man’s behavior to try to deescalate the situation. Your facility is lucky to have a kind hardworking front desk clerk like Zach! I hope he receives some type of recognition.

The elevator was a bit clunky which was concerning. You could see that the property was aging with wear and tear, could have used some minor fixes. Patio furniture would have been really nice in the back. It would have been nice to sit back there and enjoy the beautiful views

MicroTel, I view them as a different way to hotel. Smaller rooms, clean and crisp execution for short stays. This location did it all, plus a hot tub and pool. A high plus was the staff! The team was on point our whole stay. Check in, check out, helping with pool towels and such. Did not feel like I had to insist or demand what I consider normal.. like towels at the pool or more coffee to be made.

I believe this is a Hotel.com practice of not giving the "complete price" when shopping for a place.. like all the taxes and fee that add 10-20% to the price.

This hotel is a gem for the area, and Zach at the front desk was incredible. Don't hesitate to stay here. Dog friendly. I didn't bring my dog but there were plenty around to love on. No signs of dog hair in my room, so they do a good job cleaning. The front desk area is tight, but to be expected in any mountain town business. The room was clean and spacious, beds were a little soft but definitely tolerable, morning breakfast was above average. Good restaurant within walking distance. Some rooms have a view of the lake and we watched people ice fishing.

May need new mattresses, but I give them a 7 on a scale of 1-10 so that's not bad.

Before booking. I had a conversation with one of the front desk hotel staff . She told me that I will have a 10% refund because we are seniors. But at check in, 05/04/2024, shift manager told me that this is not going to happen. She was not even apologetic about information given to me by the previous hotel representative. We were very unsatisfied. We are both on disability and expected better treatment from hotel staff. After a long drive and expecting a quiet night, we felt very stressed out. I do not recommend discussing any price adjustments over the phone as they will not honor them.

Some of the staff was so wonderful

Everyone was nice but the cleaning lady with long hair in the morning had such a bad attitude. She wasn’t even cleaning our room, but she was whining or complaining about a word that was thrown out there because her kids were black. I don’t recall who it was I didn’t see her name, but she was in the hallway when we were walking by giving us dirty looks that’s the only thing that I didn’t like about this place. Everything else was good.

The property was very clean, staff was so kind, and it was close to the lake and a brewery right next store. We stayed to go to the Christmas Market and the Christmas Train. And it was a great location to enjoy both of those events. Pool was nice always fresh towels ready. They offered a decent breakfast if you’re looking for something simple and easy. Coffee was always available.

The hot tub had a little too much chlorine so it made your eyes burn a little.

Clean, modern hotel; nice hot tub and pool although over chlorinated.

No coffee in room; no luggage rack; breakfast could be improved. Your website indicated a room with the lake view, but the brewery was right outside our window. The lake view was only seen after cranking our necks at a sharp angle out of the window. So not a direct view. Not sure I would have paid extra knowing this.

About as good a value as you're likely to find anywhere near this area. Pretty comfortable, clean, solid all around place to stay.

Website advertises a gym but they don't have one as of March 2025. Also, walls & ceilings leak noise pretty easily — thankfully they were happy to move us to the top floor to avoid loud people upstairs but that's no guarantee; I'd suggest requesting it.

The staff was friendly when we checked in. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great! The hotel isn't really walking distance to anything except the brewery and lake (with hiking trails) that are directly behind it, but it's a short drive to the beautiful downtown area and lots of restaurants.

The parking lot isn't totally paved and is a little tight, but it's not a big deal and all the good things more than make up for it.

I have problems sleeping. I requested a room away from elevators and ice machine. I asked if a room on the top floor was possible, to avoid hearing people with heavy feet. They accommodated me and gave upgrade. For that reason I stayed 3 more days and became a Wyndham member. I did have to pay more for the upgraded room, but I got what I wanted. Most hotels don’t accommodate me or care.

All good! Even good food next door that they suggested. Sorry Nobody let me down.
