Nice location. Quiet, near River Walk & away from the Main St huge construction site. Can walk into town & to the big spa. (I did not visit the spa this trip.) Convenient parking. Very clean. Has A/C but limited window ventilation. Good bed. Nice shower. Clever compact kitchen.

Very clean but smelled rather strongly of cleaning fluid. (Aggressive to my lungs) Has A/C, but limited window ventilation, unless you open the front door. Was too cold when I entered, but was able to regulate the temp with the thermostat device. Floor is cement & rather chilly.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the drift. The location was perfect simply because it was right downtown and within walking distance of all the shops. We especially enjoyed sitting by the river, which was only a few yards away. Great location and friendly staff. I would absolutely highly recommend the drift. We also enjoyed the fact that each “room” stood individually like a tiny home.. The walls weren’t connected and each stood alone. Each room was side-by-side. We enjoyed that simply because we couldn’t hear our neighbors.

The cabins are right by downtown Pagosa, just blocks from restaurants and several hot springs. They back up onto a park with a bike path which was especially nice since there were some shared bikes for guests to use. It was just as clean and comfortable as a hotel, with a little bit of added privacy. It would be perfect for a multi-day stay, though probably a little too limited for a week or more.

The bathroom door was a barn-style sliding door, which didn’t do a lot to block sounds. There was a table in the room, but it was too small to be useful for much which could be annoying if you wanted to eat dinner or something in the unit. Some of the windows were permanently blocked with an opaque film which cut down on natural light a bit. These are all pretty minor cons though.

One of the BEST hotels we've ever stayed in - every detail was thought through from a design perspective. We were travelling with kids and the bunkbeds were a huge hit. The quality of the sheets and bedding were excellent and every amenity was thoughtful and anticipatory. Parking was easy, check in was easy, and we felt super relaxed upon arrival. Great location - we were right on the river walk. Plus! Even though it was too cold for us, they offer bikes for town use.

We always look for dog friendly places & this was a above & beyond experience so we added an extra day! So conveniently located to Riverwalk, restaurants and spa ! Loved the minimal but efficient furnishings & arrangement of the kitchen --modern & bunk beds for extra guests. Oh and the community social area with bikes & BBQ were very nice in a courtyard. We'll be back.

Great vibe, community of several units in a court yard for socializing or not. Super quiet, heated floors are a treat, spacious, and the small fridge actually has a real freezer. Great walk in shower, king bed with two bunks in a nook to themselves plus all the basic stuff we needed. Able to walk to great restaurants on the river walk.

Be sure and spend some time with the hand control unit for setting room temps. Also, have your logins for streaming tv if you have to resort to that?

We loved the location, first of all. Loved that pretty much every detail had been considered in the function and design of the “cabins”. It was just the 2 of us, and we loved the king bed (very comfortable), but the bunk beds were also very cool for those traveling as a family. Enjoyed the common area with the fire pit, too.

Not your typical hotel room! A cluster of individual units surrounding an extraordinarily well done outdoor space. Private, but right “there”. The rooms are industrial chic. Basic, but well appointed. Very comfortable platform bed. Minimal kitchenette. Great shower! Would we return. In a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Leaving

The cabin had a modern aesthetic and was well-appointed. The Drift is in a prime location, within walking distance from downtown restaurants and amenities. We especially appreciated the quick, contact-less check-in.

Because this is a new property, we had a bit of difficulty navigating to the location. As The Drift becomes established, there will be more information readily available to potential lodgers. We have no doubt that this will become an incredibly popular property!

Such a fantastic spot!! We were able to go not long after it opened and so thankful that it was a bit spur of the moment as it wouldn’t have been open if I’d planned far ahead! We stayed on our way to telluride from Dallas. The options for stopping are not great so we decided to try Pagosa springs this time after going through on our last visit. The drift was so great. Facilities are so nice, location perfect. We wet so pleased with our stay and will absolutely be back!!
