Well located in Southfork. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Came to the room to fix the Direct TV. Husband went for coffee a few times and said the person there was very friendly.

The listing said coffee pot in the room. It was only a hot water kettle with instant coffee in the room, which I don't care for. I had taken coffee but couldn't use it either. Husband thought the bed was fine but I thought it was a little soft.

Very clean and well maintained property. Easy access and the code for the door vs fumbling around for a key that likely touched your phone magnet and doesnt work anyway was a pleasant surprise.

I arrived at 10:01pm. I had been hiking in the forest and doing outdoor related activities but did not plan to arrive at this time. The only downside is that should you arrive after 10pm, not even the gas station is open for food. First time I went without anything to eat since I can remember. No vending machines at the hotel, basically your only option if you have no food is to eat your shoelaces or drive 30 minutes 1 way into the next town.I imagine this isnt a common occurrence but should it happen again, some sort of vending or in room choice for even a snack would have been a feast for me at that time, when I was literally starving. This was the only thing that prevented a 10 from my 8 rating. Otherwise had I been there when I thought I would, totally a 10.

We liked that they welcomed dogs. Great for the active hiker, climber, outdoorsman - but it was winter and we were seeking shelter from a storm - so we didn’t do any of those things.

We stayed the night due to bad weather at Wolf Creek Pass. The final bill was SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive due to a recreational fee charged to use equipment that we didn’t want or use. It felt very misleading.

Really nice location, food options just across the road. Spacious parking lot, exceptional cleanliness.

Some questionable choice of interior items. First, there was a wall with things like sleeping bag, etc., hanging on it. I first thought I accidentally entered someone else’s room. Second, there was something hanging over the bed which I first thought was some soft of a BDSM device. Then I realized it was a hammock. First time I saw something like that.

Very cool place that fosters social interactions or not depending on what you’re into with bar and cafe. Otherwise just the room is great. Modern, clean, comfortable, functional. Even has some outdoors gear you can rent or buy for your trip. Staying in South Fork is preferred to staying in Creede. Easy self checkin and parking. Quiet and safe. Mini fridge, microwave, extra space for your stuff like luggage or ski equipment if you need it and it’s kept out of the way. Desk and good wifi where I can imagine working remotely would work out nicely. There’s also cell reception. Rachels across the street serves good food for all meals and also has a bar.

Nothing really. Only minor suggestion is the bathroom didn’t quite match stylistically the rest of the room and a shower head with slightly better pressure and coverage would be nice. But again that didn’t affect my stay just a suggestion.

We arrived and never had to leave. We were able to get dinner at the restaurant, had drinks at the bar while playing darts and shuffleboard. We then dipped in the hot tub made complimentary snores by the fire. The next morning we spent some time in the sauna. Their breakfast sandwiches and coffee are exceptional!

Loved everything

The rooms were really decorated fun.

The desk agent that evening seemed disengaged. She was more worried about the pin number we didn't/ couldn't get rather than telling us about the property, amenities, check out time, breakfast availability, etc. Would have like a hair dryer in room. It was priced similar to properties with breakfast included.

Comfortable and well equipped room with everything you need. Good location and good view. The shared spaces were really nice with games, fire place, tables to work from, bar and coffee. There are also washing machines available and lots of parking (including EV charging)

Hard to regulate room temperature. It was either too warm or too cold so had to adjust every few hours over night.

Lodge was really neat and a little modern looking, lots of space for relaxing in the back fire pit area, and also a working room with tables and chairs, kitchen utensils, a sink, and fridge freezer.

My wife took a shower. We got there and I followed up, but it got cold and I got out. I was not impressed. Needless to say.

The staff were very sweet and even prepared a delicious Thanksgiving meal (at a cost) for their guests. I loved the indoor games and outdoor hot tub and sauna.

For the price and length of our stay, I would’ve liked to have some sort of housekeeping.
