The spaciousness of the rooms and the outdoor drive-in movie theater was just amazing touch. I've never seen a hotel offer such an amenity but it is a nostalgic. Wonderful item that they've added. It makes the hotel one of the best I've ever stayed in. The staff checking you in is an absolute dream. He is wonderful. One of the nicest people. The rooms are spacious clean. I mean extra clean and they're all aimed after movie stars. This is a absolute, fabulous place to stay. If you're ever this way in Colorado, please please take the time to stop and stay here. You will not be disappointed and the breakfast is awesome. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy cereal everything you can imagine and it is one of the most fantastic free breakfasts I have ever had and I've stayed in plenty of hotels while traveling for my job. Please stay at this hotel. It is absolutely amazing

I loved everything about this hotel and so will everybody else. There is nothing negative to write about this hotel

The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet, which is what I was looking for. It would have been fun to see a drive in movie from the room, but I knew going in that there were no movies in winter.

My stay was very nice overall at this Best Western motel. A few picky things: The location is too far from town to walk in, which would have been nice. I went into the fitness center to refill my water bottle and found the water cooler empty and no refills available (though the water is drinkable, the sinks in the room were too short to fill my taller water bottle).

What's not to like about having a Drive-In Movie theatre outside your window?! The sound was piped into the room, so we sat in chairs and watched. We could have watched it from bed, too but chose not to. The breakfast, in the morning was decent, too. It was a nice, clean comfortable room with a great Mexican restaurant next door. We couldn't have been happier. It's convenient to Sand Dunes National Park and The U.F.O. Watchtower.

Rooms were very clean, they didn't have any funny odors like other places I have stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the heater was nice and not too noisy. I liked the mountain view and the quietness of the night. I was able to have an unusual good night sleep. The staff was very kind, they even let us eat breakfast very close to the dinning area's closing time and let us stay there until we finished our breakfast without rushing us out, so thank your for this =)

I can't think of anything I didn't like, really, but then again, we only stayed for one night, but regardless of the time, Best Western Movie Manor is a very nice place to stay. I will definitely stay there again if I go back to Monte Vista, CO. and recommend it to friends and family =).

It's just such a cool concept. Get a room and watch a drive in movie from your bay window. It was an older motel but clean. There are two screens and the rooms face one of them, so if you book, you could be out of luck in that the movie you wanted to watch is on the other screen. If that is the case, they offer you a free pass to drive your car into the drive-in and see the movie like you regularly would. We were in luck, we had an awesome room and the movie was one we wanted to see. Staff is very friendly. Feels like a family owned business. They were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was a notch above what you'd normally expect from a place that includes breakfast. I thought it was very good.

Very cool concept about a sleep-in-movie theatre. The big screen is across from the hotel and the audio boxes are in the rooms.

It is outdated and could be cheaper for such a rundown room.

The staff was SO, SO friendly and helpful! We enjoyed talking to everyone. Also, the hotel accepts cats. We brought our cat.

There was some dripping from the gutters right above the stairs.

From the description I thought it would be sketchy but NO. It is a very nice place in an “out of the way” place. You can sit in your room and see (albeit not close up) a drive in movie with sound,!

It was so fun to be able to go to the drive in and then be right back at our room. Our kids especially thought it was fun! Highly recommended for families.

What's not to like here. First run movie right out the window with sound in the room, comfortable beds, great views out the door, fantastic restaurant next door, super breakfast and prairie dogs! We really had fun at this cute motel. The views of the mountains to the west were amazing. The manager was wonderful and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. Everything worked in the room. We had a view of the main movie screen right out the window and a speaker inside the room that worked well. We chose to watch a movie at the drive in, but our car shut down the electronics to save the battery so we finished the movie in our room. The drive in requires you to tune in to a FM frequency for sound. Pro tip: bring a FM radio and save your car battery! Quite night due to the rooms being very quite. There was a good and tasty breakfast menu and the dining area was very clean and neat. There is also outside dining and the view is great. Bonus: the Mexican restaurant next door, Eduardo Mexican Grill, was very good. Their salsa was brilliant and we bought some for the road. My daughter will vouch for the queso! There is so much to like at the Movie Manor, you cannot go wrong. A very good memory for our family.

Water temp in the shower varied from time to time, but it kept us on our toes!
