Close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Monte Vista state park. Comfy rooms and good breakfast. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Having to request our room be serviced. Seems like all hotels now don't do daily housekeeping unless you request it specifically. The pandemic is over--for the prices we pay I expect daily housekeeping.

THE SMELL!!!!! The lobby and hallway (at least on the 4th floor) were overpowering with a smell that was not temporary but there every time we walked through. It seemed to be from cleaning product or, even worse, a deliberate use of perfume. Our room also smelled, but not as much and I was able to get used to it. Fortunately, I was not allergic to the odor, but it was unexpected to encounter such a heavy perfume smell.

Breakfast was good. The eggs and potatoes were tasty. Fun to have waffles. There was good variety. And the staff was very helpful and kind.

Our first room had absolutely no view, but reception was very kind to change our room. Also, a list of near by restaurants would have been helpful.

Room was super clean and the whole facility was clean and welcoming. While there is not much to do in the town, at least this hotel was nice and comfy. I was impressed as this is probably one of the nicest Hampton Inns I've ever stayed in.

Nothing you could have done; not much to do in the town. But a very good pit stop!

Newer hotel, clean,comfy, great shower and comfortable bed. The free breakfast was outstanding! Biggest selection and variety of hot cooked foods and fresh fruits and cereals. The breakfast attendant was very attentive and kept everything well stocked.

The room was nice as well as the bathroom!! Nice hot breakfast!!

The people above us were very noisy!! They were quiet about 10:30. That was the latest i could tolerate so didn’t call the front desk.

We liked most the helpfulness and understanding of the error made by Booking. com and their help in resolving the Bookings. com error

We did not like that Bookings.com had neglected to notify the Hampton Inn of the change in schedule thus we were not registered and noted as a no-show so that we had to pay Hampton Inn for the evening until resolved

The pool and hot tub, the location next to Walmart and other food chains, the staff were very accommodating per requests as I stayed for three nights.

Very nice and clean hotel, all that you want if you are in Alamosa for a visit to the Great Sand Dunes NP. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, better than in many 4 star hotels.
