The bed was extremely comfortable, and the entire room was cozy and well-equipped. We appreciated the Roku TV options. The little family-owned business seems located in a beautiful area of the state.

This isn't a significant criticism -- just a suggestion: I removed the air freshener from the wall as soon as we entered the room, because the fragrance was simply over-powering. This may be because I have a fairly sensitive nose, so take the criticism with a grain of salt . . . but my suggestion would be to find a less powerful air freshener, and consider going without one entirely.

This was an unexpected gem! We were just looking for something cheap to rest for the night on our journey from Denver to Pagosa Springs. The room exceeded our expectations in every category and was exceedingly clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again!

The only gripe we had and it was a very small one was that the beds were too soft for our liking but that is entirely a personal preference and not indicative of a lack of quality. The beds seemed very nice just too soft for us.

Room was a good size and comfortable. Grounds were pleasant. It was a good value for the price. Easy check in - we got there a little late so the key was waiting for us in an envelope on teh office door.

It was good having a refrigerator in the room, but the inside of the door was disgusting and it needs to be replaced. Since there didn't seem to be anyone on site in charge, no one dealt with a very noisy neighbor blasting country music until late at night.

We liked the beds/mattresses. There were many towels, all very clean.

We rented 2 rooms, one was in better shape compared to the other, but neither room was in bad shape. I informed the owner about the issue with the loose faucet and they took note of that. There was some spider webbing all around the exterior of the lodge, mainly around the windows, and near our room, during a hard rain, there was pretty loud noise from a dripping gutter. But once the rain stopped, all was good.

The cabin (number 8) is very cozy and it's clean. Equipment in the kitchen is more than sufficient. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed that is really huge and very comfortable. The hosts are very kindly and if you need something, it's is done directly. Also useful tips were given for our stay.

Furniture like the couch is perhaps a bit old and outdated; should be replaced by another one in my opinion.

While basic, this property exceeded my expectations. I was in for 1 night to ski wolf creek, and friends have been staying here for years. I booked a king room- comfy bed, great pillows, and all the amenities you could want, including a mini space heater which was delightful after a long cold day. It was also very quiet. The hot tub was perfection

Really everything was great. The light was out over the hot tub so you needed to use ur phone light, but the hot tub itself lit up.

Excellent place to stay in South Fork- RV sites, cabins & two story motel. This is the second time I stayed here during my ten day road trip. Stayed at begin & end of the trip. So yes, I can highly recommend this Ute Lodge. Fast and easy check-in. Clean room. Good location.

There were no negatives encountered.

Was a nice location easy to get to just far enough out of town didn’t get much of the town noise. I would definitely stay there again.

Could use a little bit of updating, but other than that everything was good maybe a few more plug-ins in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub clean and a fine temperature. Parking in front of cabin is always a plus! The location was quiet and ideally located for my needs.

Pillows were too hard for me but I carry my own, usually. This time I forgot!

Location is great. Super friendly staff. Attentive to all my needs. They went out of there way to meet my special requests.

No iron. But they said they will be sure to add one.
