As I pulled up to the Shell Motel with a AAA rating after a 4 hour drive, I was elated to see I had made a good choice. It was located close to the airport, golf, casinos, horse and dog tracts and walking distant to restaurants and nearby shopping. One of the managers Pierre, took my luggage and me to point out the heated pool and room amenities. I have stayed in major hotels that were not as spotless as these accommodations. I can see why they have received so many 5 star reviews. This will be my choice on my next trip to Hollywood, Fl.

I would be hard pressed to list anything I disliked about this property.

First off the host was fast responding to my inquiries online, he was super friendly and very comfortable to speak with. He made sure he detailed everything about our stay. Also gave us some options on eateries nearby. For a motel, this has to be top notch.

Absolutely nothing was bad or wrong. We really didn't like that we couldn't stay longer. We couldn't take pictures of the room because of how late we were to get to our next destination.

There was no breakfast offered. But, staff was great. It was a Motel so not all of the bells & whistles. Perfect for a one night stay.

Traffic was a little nosier than we would have preferred. Bur, we both still got a good night sleep!

Location

The photos showed a big fridge, sofa, stove with oven. What I ground was a a small fridge, 2 burner hot plate, and the room was small. No sofa ad advertised

Exceelent accommodations for excellent price. Everything is within walking distance. Owners treat you like family. Second to none. Great rooms & comfort all around. Love staying here.

Everything was very clean. The pool area was fantastic! The owners/operators were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Pillows were lumpy. Room was small but worked out fine for one person.
