A Lifesaver Near the Airport! My recent stay at Rate Staybridge Suites - Fort Lauderdale Airport - West by IHG was an absolute lifesaver, especially after an unexpected flight cancellation. I needed a hotel near the airport, and this one exceeded all expectations. From the moment I called, things were smooth. Their shuttle arrived precisely on time, which was a huge relief. Check-in was incredibly quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making a stressful situation much more pleasant. A delightful surprise was their social hour, offering complimentary food and beverages – a fantastic touch that truly made a difference. My room was not only big and super clean but also came equipped with a full kitchen and all the necessary utensils, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel's location was also great, making it easy to access everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfortable amenities, and convenient location, especially for travelers facing flight disruptions.

Honestly, everything was perfect for us.

Hotel was very clean, they kept all the hallways very nice also. And it has good parking access.

I'm not crazy about the air conditioners being so close to the bed. And the breakfast bar opened at 7:30 but they didn't have anything out there yet the girl was working on it, but she didn't seem very happy. When she finally did start getting up the food filled up she seemed very irritated when the people emptied the trays quickly. Seemed like when she was back in the prep room she was doing a lot of arguing with one of the other workers, she was kind of loud.

Staff was very pleasant at check in. Love the adopted cats :-) anyone encountered with staff was pleasant. hotel was clean. rooms nice. We were there for event so not spending much time in the room until night. breakfast bar was great.

loveseat in 2 BR suite small, and only high top stools to sit in other. our 2nd suite had a couch with chaise end - much more fitting for family. Suggestion of labels for breakfast bar. muffins/turnovers not as obvious if blueberry or chocolate chip or raisin - so didn't want to take and not eat.

Great hotel. Room and common areas very clean. Located close the airport. Used t shuttle from and to the airport. Breakfast is sufficient with different types of eggs every day. We used the fitness room with has the minimum equipment for a basic workout. Friendly staff. Reception gave us a quiet room as we asked. I've got a late check-out as a member of the IHG program.

The fabric on two of the four chez-longs near the pool was slightly damaged and might need repair/replacement.

Great location for the concert at the hard rock casino. The room was clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The blackout blinds were amazing and after a late night at the concert, my husband and I were able to sleep in until 10 AM with no problems thanks to the dark . The little shop had a good selection of snacks and amenities. I liked the efficiency of the parcel collection system they had for items that we had sent to the hotel.

Breakfast good and varied, location was reasonable, room was clean, carpet was worn in places, room was very spacious and facilities were good and all worked.

Arrival information was poor, no document to tell you what the hotel provided, was promised a copy and it never arrived. Outside area very sparse and noisy (but not in the room) because of the flight path

We really liked our studio suite. It made our stay feel more homey.

The television was challenging. It would have been nice to have written instructions. Our TV would turn itself back on after 5 minutes of pushing the power button. It was aggravating to the point I would unplug the TV every night. Also, the mattress had wore areas near the edge. Sleeping was difficult, trying not to roll of the side of the bed.

I liked that breakfast came with the stay. The room was clean and staff friendly.

During breakfast, it was a Holiday and it closed at 9:30, at 9 they were running out of coffee, pancake batter and a few other items. They did not replace these items even when asked. Also, I took the free shuttle to the hotel from the airport, I waited 45 minutes for the driver to pick me up. Other hotels had picked up guests 3 times over before our ride came. Very disappointed about this.

Cleaned daily, the room had full amenities, they even had hand lotion, dish liquid, a hamper to carry your clothing to wash room, oh by the way the laundry room is free!! Free breakfast, free evening food, free coffee just about all day, Front desk was always welcome even in the middle of the night.

Needs more parking spaces

Staff is up to help, very nice parking area, breakfast a plus, shuttle service awesome, room amazing, everything super clean. Better than expected. Staff as soon as they see you they say Hi, and ask if there is anything they can do 4 you. Great team.
