I accidentally booked this location thinking it was the hotel we stayed at last year. I was surprised. But it turned out okay. It was clean and comfortable. No one bothered us. The man who checked us in was nice. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. It turned out to be a happy surprise.

The toilet was a little wobbly but worked just fine. There was little water pressure in the shower but the temperature of the water was nice. I wish I would have had a broom to sweep with. The floor got dirty with sand and other stuff and would have liked cleaning up before we left. I felt guilty leaving it that way. Do not get anything from the snack machine.

It was clean it smelled nice, the towels were soft and the shampoo and conditioner they were provided were really good I was surprised.

Rooms were a little small

Very friendly great customer service. Great hospitality. Easy to get to the beach. Only a 20 minute drive to museums and the Farmers Market and restaurants.

The interior has recently been remodeled. It is new, fresh, and modern. Despite it's outside appearance which hasn't been remodeled in decades, we felt safe and had no issues. This was a good value and in a good location for our purposes. There's plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.

When you pull up for the first time, your going to say OMG, what did I get myself into? You'll be relieved when you walk in and see that it's a fresh remodel.The room pictured on Booking.com must be one of the few that has a separate bathroom. Our room was a small studio with a privacy wall, but no bathroom door. You'll be sitting on the toilet 5 feet from your spouse who is on the bed, and no door in between you, however you won't be visible. The door to the outside desperately needs weather stripping. There's plenty of daylight there, and when it rains the insects seek refuge. Take a towel from the bathroom and make your own barrier at the base of the door. The manager/owner was a bit of a ball buster. My wife called to ask what time check in was. He said... I don't know. 3 or 4 maybe?.. and told her to read her reservation. We did, and it said 3pm. When we arrived at 3pm, he said to me... You're a little early, ain't ya?
