We have stayed here before because of its location. Right in the heart of Coconut Point and you can walk to everything within its location. It’s only a short drive down to Barefoot Beach or Bonita Beach and a short drive up to the Gulf Coast shopping centre too. Basically everything on your doorstep. The rooms are very clean and a very good size although the bathroom, whilst having a large shower, is actually a bit small and using the door is quite awkward. Staff are very pleasant too. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean and well maintained.

Hot water was a bit hit and miss. I got a hot shower one day but my husband got cool water. Next couple of days, neither of us got a shower that was consistently warm as the temperature would keep getting hot or cool.

The room was very quiet, staff was friendly, coffee was out super early.

The halls seemed kinda dirty. The room had ceiling repairs that looked like someone’s first time with mud, but whatever. Water pressure was very weak and took a while to get shampoo out my hair. Overall I’ve stayed in much nicer of properties at this price point. Next time I’ll pay a little more and stay at the Ritz. Widely different experience for not much more.

My pros were as follows: we were able to check in early, ac was nice and cold, room was big, had a small refrigerator.

My cons were as follows: bathrooms lacked any space, bathroom door almost hits the toilet, not comfortable for partners, shower heads were a little dirty, no microwave and lack of outlets was a bummer since we had a few that were available but we labeled do not disconnect. Just an expected a little more for the price.

Breakfast was wonderful and varied every other day. The location was perfect- walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and retail shops. The property was safe- I walked my dog late at night and always felt safe. The staff was so friendly and helpful- even remembered my name from my stay 3 weeks earlier- even remembered my dog’s name. Kudos!

Nothing could have been better- I will return in 3 weeks and am looking forward to my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place Coconut Point. Very friendly and efficient check in process. Same for checkout. All the staff I've been involved with have been professional and friendly. Very nice equipment and comfortable room. Outstanding mattress! The only thing that's missing is a microwave... But maybe it's on purpose. The pool is well sized, and the surrounding amenities more than suffisant. I will definitely come back to this Hyatt Place. It is as well walking distance from all the great shops and restaurants of the Coconut Point Mall.

Convenient location for my travels. Staff was friendly, and they allowed me to check in early since I'm a member. However, I'm not a fan of the handicap room. Since the desk was nice enough to check me in early, I did not complain.

Well located for shopping and different restaurants. Very pleasant room with plenty lights but a bit pricey

The breakfast area not very pleasant . Just the bare minimum in choice,. Okay for 1 morning but go to another restaurant in the neighborhood

First night in bed a large section of the ceiling collapsed. Was able to transfer room. The furniture was uncomfortable as it is all low. I am 86 and have trouble getting up. Fine for younger people

Location and staff

nice spacious room, nice building, we stayed with our dogs and didn’t have a problem about it. they only allow 2 dogs max, 50lbs and they charge you a $75 pet fee, which I was expecting so I didn’t mind.

the breakfast was a little meh, and I searched my towels and bed for hairs or stains, and found a couple but removed them, I know sometimes hair is hard to get rid of in the dryer, but still they should be more careful about it .

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I needed more coffee, and they replenished me that day. I needed a new light bulb, and it was replaced that day. This is my 4th stay here- I’ll be back next month.

Not a thing- you cannot improve Perfect.
