We were really happy we chose the Fairway Inn. Our room was nice and the property is large and well kept. The best part was the grounds- the landscaping is so clean and detailed and you can tell they take pride in their work. It’s just something that goes a long way. The pool was nice, rooms were clean and nicer than expected. Please don’t go to these places expecting 5 starts because it’s not what they are. But we’ve stayed at plenty of budget spots and this was one of the best. The check in attendant could have been friendlier and WiFi was weak would be my only complaints. But we’d go back when exploring the Everglades again.

Motel is in a good location. Florida City is in a gateway to Keywest, just next to Everglades and only 30 minutes away from Miami (if there is no traffic :)). The room is not the most fancy one, but it fulfilled our needs, nice big king size bed, hot water and air condition. There was also enough space on the floor for baby cot. Microwave and Fridge were nice bonus for heating and storing food for the baby.

Room cleaning was not following the same pattern every day. Some days it was cleaned nicely and bed sheets and towels changed. Other days bed was not made, new bed sheets just left on top of the bed. There is poor noice cancellation on the walls. Traffic sound comes in from the road nearby. Also sounds from other rooms comes in easily.

Staff was great. Very helpful. Rooms were clean. Lots of pillows. Convenient location, close the main roads but not noisy. Several restaurants within walking distance as well as convenient store/gas stations nearby.

The bed was too firm. The toilet didn't flush well. When I first got to my room my key didn't work. I went back to the office and the lady ran my key again. It still didn't work. This time I called the office and while I was on the phone a housekeeper came ond let my in my room. Had to go back to the office, this time they had maintenance come. He didn't speak English so communication was a little difficult. He finally figured out the problem was the key and brought me new ones and I didn't have any more issues. Overall not a pleasant experience, but everyone was nice and helpful and it was resolved within half hour or so.

Very good location when visiting the Southern part of the Everglades. It's literally on the corner of the road into the park. This was a huge place, with all motel-style rooms on 2 floors. The rooms were good and spacious, we had no issues. Pool area looked nice as well, but we didn't have time to jump in since we wanted to get a early start to the Northern part of the Everglades, and Miami traffic is the worst.

The staff seemed a bit indifferent/apathetic, but I guess if you see hundreds of people passing through for 1 night, it all kind of blends together...

Everything, Book early because they rent fast. At least a week in advance. You won't be disappointed. I've stayed in many in the area, and this is my go-to when available. Always! Clean, secure, staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond. Only complain if any is ne breakfast but the 4 restaurants within walking 300 feet make up for that. I'm here every weekend, so if you don't agree with this review, you can let me know in person, lol. You'll have to see for yourself is what i can tell ya. Sincerely. Dominick C.

The hotel is as advertised very relaxing pool is very clean a well maintained it's in a good area if you're going to the Everglades this has been my second year at the same Hotel and I will be back next year security is at the hotel 24 hours a day which is a great thing I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good safe relaxing place spend your vacation

The water pressure for the shower was terrible for it to be a slow season(august) and not many rooms in my building were being used the water pressure could have been 90% better

Our room was on the 1st floor. The Motel was older but had been recently refurbished. The staff were very pleasant and did a wonderful job accommodating their clients. The room was clean. The facility was clean. the other guests seemed to be a family-oriented sort. Breakfast was included and 24/7 coffee available in the lobby. The location is perfect for visiting the Everglades National Park and the Miami Zoo - both are worthwhile to see.

The ventilation system in the bathroom could not remove the steam from the shower adequately and the housekeeping staff seemed to miss cleaning the vent louvers in the bathroom, however, I consider this minor. Our room was paid in advance but was not ready for us when we arrived after the check-in time - again a minor issue.

Hotel is within 30 minutes of Key Largo. Clean rooms. Pool was nice and clean. Plenty of breakfast choices.

Room had slight musty smell. Lack of King rooms on ground floor (we booked a king room more than 3 weeks out and requested ground floor due to limitations climbing stairs) When we arrived hotel was no where close to full but was told no ground floor king rooms were available. While we paid for king we had to settle for 2 queens. Just a note hotel requires a $100 refundable deposit on check in.

I came in for just a banana...there were none. So so for a continental breakfast.

Small bathroom; no hooks or shelves for convenience in shower area. TV was quite small (and dusty behind it). When we arrived we could not wash our hands because the sink stopper was broken in the down position. However, maintenance was quick to arrive and fixed it. Parking lot full and upon our late arrival it was hard to park truck with boat. There again, outside maintenance man helped us as there was "one" area open for us. You need pull thru parking spaces. Don't like the surprise of putting $100+ deposit on card just in case we smoke or violate your rules. If anything else, tell me ahead of time.

Excellent location to visit Everglades NP and Key Biscayne NP. Beds were comfortable, shower was good, and AC unit was one of the quietest we have experienced. Breakfast was provided and included cereals, yogurt, toast, muffins, and eggs;however, we did not partake in the breakfast as we always have our own food. There are also fast food restaurants and some nice dinner places nearby. Easy on and off the highway, but also very quiet. Staff was professional and welcoming, as we arrived vey late and the front desk woman was very nice.
