The room was clean and a good value for the money. The staff thoughly mop the laminate floors between stays and even cleaned our floor during our stay because we tracked in sand. The location was close to the water with entrances from two streets near a traffic light so it was easy to travel either direction on the strip. I appreciated that the laundry facilities were available 24/7. The desk staff allowed us to choose to stay on the main floor at check in which made it easy to walk our pet. The hotel is extremely pet friendly.

The only thing that made the stay slightly disappointing is that the images of the furniture in the room didn't match those on the website. The image showed an L shaped couch, but there was only a loveseat. I would have preferred to have the extra seating as we stayed for a week. The area available to walk dogs is behind a privacy fence where semis park and homeless sometimes rest. That was uncomfortable, so we tended to use the area nearer the lighted street to walk the dog at night.

It’s very convenient to the beach and all the places we like to go!

The only thing is I felt the pool needed more upkeep and the bed was not as comfy as I expected other than that it was great :-)

The location is great and within all things fun, cleanliness was spot on, and the breakfast was great!

On Monday 8/7 we left for the day and upon returning found that my sons airpods were missing after knowing specifically what picket they were in on his bag. We looked all over and checked with staff no on had seen them. So we checked once more knowing where we put them that morning and still nothing. We had to leave Thursday and still no sign of them.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the location is in a good spot. On one side of the hotel, you could look out the windows and see the bay. The breakfast was good but limited. There was sausage and eggs to make biscuits with and waffles. Also had bread based items and juices as well as coffee and cereal. So overall, decent.

We booked on booking.com and were giving a total that included tax and other fees. We were able to pay at the hotel upon arriving, which was great. The only issue was that the receipt had the price we were quoted, but our card was charged an additional $43.00. There was no explanation, and when we questioned it, we were told that they didn't know why either.

Arrival and check in was my worst experience. I did arrive early and was able to go ahead and check in but The staff member that was there to check me in was absolutely RUDE. She was talking to someone through her earbuds and when needing my id and card to pay with she looked at me and said “ID” with an attitude then again when asking for card for payment she demanded for card with attitude. We traveled 5.5 hours to stay there and I feel I was treated with a rude attitude. All other staff after that night was exceptionally great and nice. We lost something while there and asked the guy at the front desk if it had been turned in and was told no but he went as far as looking at cameras to see if he could see if it was maybe dropped along the way somewhere while we we there.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help us in any way. When we needed something the staff was quick to respond and take care of it. The location was great. We were a quick drive to the beach, restaurants or even to drive into Destin. The room was very comfort and everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. The music that was played was so encouraging and uplifting as I ate and drank my coffee. I would definitely stay here again if we return.

Location, cleanliness and the pool.

The breakfast was decent. The only negative was the exact same generic breakfast items were served all four days in a row with no change or variation. After two, and certainly three days, a person really loses their appetite with that. If we stayed any longer, we wouldn’t have even bothered going to breakfast there. Maybe that’s the goal? The breakfast itself was decent enough to just fill the void, and take the edge off but far from delicious. I’ve definitely had far better at other hotels.

The staff was great and did their best to keep the place as clean as they could while dealing with disrespectful guests and their animals.

Some of the guests there where very disrespectful. Staying in the breakfast area for hours, allowing theirs dogs to pee on the carpet, allowing their dogs to poop on the sidewalk, not cleaning up after their dogs messes in the dog walk area.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, 10min walk to the Landing where 4th of July firework show is hosted, walking distance to a few restaurants, bars & water recreational rental facilities. Also, a 15-30 min drive to Destin.

We couldn’t get our hotel room to cool below 72*, but we brought our own personal portable fan based on other experiences not affiliated with this hotel. We just prefer to sleep in much colder temps at night. Not the hotel’s fault, just a preference.

The breakfast was good and the woman working it worked very hard and was pleasant but a busy gal. She needs a raise. Housecleaning staff very friendly & did a good job and I made sure to tip them well. Front desk folks were very accommodating. I hope I did offend when I asked to see the room prior to staying because of fear of bedbugs. He was very nice and showed me our room. Was very clean and acceptable. Hope I didn’t offend but needed to see. Thank you. I’d definitely stay here again.

Pool was delayed on opening one day. But we did get in and enjoyed the sun & water.
