Location was the best. We had an ocean front room with a balcony and loved watching all the boats go by so close to our room. The rooms were a nice size but the hotel is a bit dated. Parking is expensive at the hotel so be prepared. We walked the all time we were there. The beach was small but it was a nice addition to have.

We had just one front desk person who didn’t seem to enjoy her job, she wasn’t very friendly and hardly looked up from her computer to say hi as guests walked in the front door, the rest of the staff was very friendly and smiled which to me goes a long way to make you feel welcomed. This trip was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the front desk person didn’t even say Happy Anniversary to us. The Hot Tin Roof restaurant did celebrate our anniversary and what a fabulous place to go to have a delicious dinner.

Location

The beds were terribly worn out, this is not acceptable at a high dollar resort.

I upgraded to a Lanai room to have a balcony and a nice view. The balcony was ok, but there was a tree touching the railing, so much for a nice view of the ocean or pool. Even though the pool was not far from our room there was no noise when the door was closed. The door key braclets were very nice. If you want to be near all the night life this is the place. Easy walking to all the shops and restaurants.

They were sealing the parking lot and parking was scarce. The lady at the desk got snippy when I mentioned it, and told me I received a letter notifiying me of the situation. (I did NOT.) My husband loved the Chart Room Bar, it was nice and cozy, but it smelled of urine.

It was quiet and safe. Close to everything .

The pool and hot tube closed at 7pm... wished it had been open til 9pm after a long day of walking a hot tube would have been nice to relax in before bed

Location! Food excellent. Dining ambiance great. Bar tenders friendly and quick.

No smart tv in room. For room price No access to movies on demand Amazon Netflix especially when week stay rainy. Dining service v. Slow. For price of room, the room was small. One sitting chair. Other had to sit in bed. Room cleaning almost non existent but front desk v. responsive when that was pointed out. Outside chairs wet in am because of sprinkler system.

Nice room, clean. It was on first floor. Would have preferred a higher floor although must admit access was easy as we did not have to wait for elevators.

Can't think of anything really.

Fantastic location with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great pool and beach. Loved the live music by the beach/pool, great food at the beach cafe, excellent Pina Colada’s! Well maintained and presented facilities to enjoy the best of Key West.

AC in window by the bed made sleeping that side unbearably cold! Room too hot without it. Wish the vents could be moved but they were fixed so blew wind all night in one spot. Small thing that impacted our comfort but didn’t ruin our stay.

Our room was easy to get to. It was very quiet. The rooms were clean and nice. The beach is a small man-made beach; it was nice for sunsets. Didn't use the pools; however, they looked nice.

We weren't notified of parking issues due to resealing the back parking lots. It would have been better, if possible, to move those rooms where there was better parking. It was a bit of a hassle to deal with lack of parking due to the areas marked off for resealing. The other couple with us was not notified at check in either.

Absolutely loved the location, the property, the atmosphere, the beach and the restaurant. The front desk people were very nice and very helpful. The food and bar were great.

The only thing that upset us was the attitude of Mike the chair guy by the beach. We were told that the chairs were first come , first serve. He saved all the chairs. No one was sitting in them for most of the day. And he acted like he didn't want to help us. Busy on his phone. It's ok. We enjoyed our beach day. The live music was fantastic!

The staff was exceptional. Lee at the concierge desk was very knowledgeable about all the things to do and what would be a hit with the kids. The front desk and bell staff were accommodating and welcoming and nice to interact with. The poolside wait staff was attentive and very sweet to everyone. And the housekeeping staff were like ninjas; quick, efficient, and they would get in and out of the room without disturbing us no matter how late we slept of how short our time out of the room was. Everyone we interacted with was polite and genuinely seemed to like their job. The location is perfect, right at the top of Duval St makes it easy to walk to all the historic attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Also, being on the north side of the island puts it next to the harbor and a quick walk to the dock for all the different water excursions. I never felt the need to rent any transportation as everything was walkable from here. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower are very spacious. Two people could be getting ready at once with more than enough space to move. We didn't watch much TV, but there were plenty of channels to choose from. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. The AC was quiet and had no trouble keeping the room as cold as we wanted it, and it was in the upper 90s on our trip. The restaurant on site is good and not overpriced. In fact, it seemed to be one of the more reasonably priced places to eat on the island. Finally, the pool was clean, the hot tub large, and the private beach was not crowded and had more than enough chairs and spaces for everyone. I recommend swimming with goggles and exploring the small rock outcropping. We saw much more wildlife than I expected in such a small place so close to so much shipping activity.
