Very decent hotel. Extending nights were a breeze here. Air fryer/microwave and full size fridge in room was an extra bonus. A/C blew really cold (much needed in Florida).My only three complaints: Had to pretty much beg for towels/housekeeping, the blinds in most rooms are damaged so people can walk past and peek inside your room, and roof was being reinstalled during my stay so it became a major discomfort/nuisance. Besides those three things Home 1 was pretty good to us. Also, the couple next to my room kept arguing but I think Hotel staff was able to get them to quiet down.

Construction during stay should’ve been conveyed to guest. Blinds broken in guest rooms Housekeeping more frequently for guest staying 3+ days. (If they want it)

So the hotel was fabulous. It’s definitely a motel in a bad area but the hotel itself was great for the value. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, hot water lasted my entire shower. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I had an issue with our car rental at the airport and it nearly ruined our entire vacation. I called the hotel crying in tears at 7am because we had park tickets for universal and I knew check in wasn’t until 3 but I had no where to put our bags because we weren’t given a car rental. I felt like I failed my kids and I was having a panic attack and called the hotel to see if I just simply drop our bags off in the lobby or behind the front desk and pay a bell service fee. The woman who answered calmed me down, felt so sympathetic for me, and saved our entire vacation. She said usually check in is at 3, but she encouraged us to just come on down and they would help us get checked in at 8am. I know that can’t always happen for everyone, but the empathy and kindness and the extra “pixie dust” that exerted from that staff member saved our trip, genuinely. That woman made our entire day. She was SO kind and so understanding on the phone. She fixed an issue she didn’t even create and didn’t have to help, but she chose to. All of the staff we had encounters with was extremely kind and helpful. The room was way more spacious than I thought it would be. Bathroom was huge and tub was perfectly big enough to relax in the bath after a Disney park day.

The only downside to this hotel is the location. They do rent weekly or long term to locals in Orlando and some of those locals are visibly strung out on drugs walking around the property and blasting loud music at night. The smell of weed was coming through our door. However it’s not the hotels fault. When I called the front desk at 1am to say there was loud music and weed from outside, they took care of it immediately and didn’t play around. This is definitely a good value for your dollar and I’m grateful we chose to stay here.

Overall the place was well kept and for the most part quiet at times. The place is a little out of the way, and the Kissimmee traffic does not help when you have to exit during a weekday. The office personel were extremly helpful and very friendly. The pool was well kept and there are laundry facilities on every floor. For the money it is well worth the stay.

The bed was hard in certain areas, the mattres I had was too big for the frame so you had to be careful when you get up or you would slide right off! There was a couch which was stained and there no chairs even though you have an area to work on.

The new guy that checked me in had excellent customer service. He was very polite and explained everything to me. I drove from 3 hours away and I was checked in very quickly which was great cause I was tired.

Ice machine on 2nd floor. I couldn't walk up the stairs to get ice. Elevator was broken.

The high speed internet is better than any other hotel I’ve been to.

The roaches is the only thing I don’t like about the property

All of the front desk staff are amazing! The laundry facilities are perfect for me.

People not picking up after their dogs is my one MAJOR complaint.

The lady at the front desk when I checked in (early at that) was friendly and so helpful. I checked out before the doors were open in the lobby, but the gentlemen that met me at the door was also friendly and asked how my stay was.

Location, size of the room.

Had to wait too long for my room. I got there on time and waited 35 minutes after my check in to be able to get a room. Windows needs more cover those blinds they have are not enough for privacy.

I loved the fact it was like a mini apartment! I started for 5 nights so it was more comfortable. Definitely want to come back next year

Rooms were clean and comfortable; the floors needed a good cleaning(vinyl)being pet friendly and pricing were great.
