What I loved about the property was pretty much everything. It was my first time visiting mandarian oriental and I am still daydreaming. If you dont want to spend a lot of money then this place may not be for you, but if you are looking for a luxury getaway and you can afford a nice stay with good food this place is for you! I’ve lived in Miami for 23 years and I’ve visited brickell key a couple of times and have always eyed M.O. and finally made the booking and I don’t regret making that decision. It’s an experience you shouldn’t miss out on.

I’m not a huge fan that there is “housekeeping” that come into your room while your items are inside. But I am happy to say they have a “privacy “ button on the door if you don’t want them to come in and/or you can have “housekeeping” when you please.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I never felt uncomfortable at the location - they knew our names and were happy to assist with everything. They even provided a complimentary slice of birthday cake to help us celebrate! The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job maintaining our very spacious room everyday. The view from my room's balcony was just breathtaking (photo attached). Can't rave enough about this place. Incredible experience, 10/10 would recommend.

If you plan on traveling around Miami just know the location is a bit inconvenient. I think hotel is AMAZING for stay-cations. Has great food at the restaurants. Has live entertainment. Has a bar. Has a pool and hot tub. Has a spa. Has a store. Has interesting art around. Has a fitness center that hosts yoga classes. You don't really need to leave. But, during all car trips the 4 days of my stay, there was a lot of traffic just across the bridge when you leave the hotel. We had to move dinner reservations back 30 mins due to sitting in traffic for 20 mins a mile from the hotel. However, the experience at the hotel far outweighed the inconvenience of travel.

Amazing location and views of Brickell and the Bay. Aside from the miscommunication in the beginning of the stay, the rest of the visit was great.

There was a mix-up and miscommunication by the front desk staff about our check in time, which resulted in a longer wait than expected. The front desk staff also miscommunicated about bringing up our luggage, and I had to go back to the lobby to sort out when it would be brought up to our room.

Very nicely located 5-star hotel with overall great service and large rooms. Views to the bay are great. A quiet location, especially on the bay view side. I also liked complimentary water bottles and morning coffee, as well as the hair saloon.

$50+ oatmeal for breakfast (with berries, coffee, and water) felt a bit pricey.

The room was a good size, the bathroom had a soaking tub and a separate shower. Our room had a beautiful water view. The staff was very friendly and the valet provided a great sandwich shop recommendation.

The mo lounge is on the ground floor lobby; I was expecting either a rooftop pool or bar like many other Miami hotels.

Best location to stay in Miami as close to city but being on Brickell Key Island you feel removed from the hussle and bussel of downtown Miami . Loves the walking path around the hotel each morning . Rooms great size , beds very comfortable, gorgeous views. Great buffet breakfast and nice bar for evening drinks and snacks . Staff accommodating and generally friendly as usual some better than others .

The pool temperature was extremely warm ; not refreshing at all . Did not use as too hot felt like a warm bath . Pity as it was hot and would have been good to cool off . The hotel boasts a private beach but you can’t swim there as it drops to the Ocean , however it was a better spot to sunbake than around the very crowded pool area and there was a nice breeze which made it more tolerable than lying around a pool that was too hot to swim in .

Location is great. We had an excellent welcoming by the staff. The front desk lady, who we guessed was from Ukraine or Russia based on her accent, was very professional and cared about us. She upgraded us to a Junior Suite. The room had a broad view of downtown Miami with partial water view as well.

Sink was clogged unfortunately. We ordered room service but did not receive waters as we requested.

Location is great. Staff is very friendly. Still a nice vibe, even though they're planning to demolish the hotel next year.

The fitness facility is three empty hotel rooms with equipment. There is a large opening between the bedroom and the bathroom. There must've been something covering it at some point. . . The pool is inadequate for a hotel this size.

All staff I experienced were very helpful and kind; The overall quality of facilities were exceptional with a few minor issues; The location of hotel was great that we could walked down to the Brickel area;

The overall quality of the room we stayed was great with a few minor issues: - The bathroom sink was draining really slowly; - The wine refrigerator (?) made lots of noises so we had to turn it off; - The room we stayed wasn't much sound proof that we could hear sounds from the room next door;
