It was clean, helpful staff, everything you need in one place.

We needed clean towels and trash bags several times during our stay and had to go find them for ourselves and replace the used ones.

We've stayed here now three times (2022-2024). You cannot beat the views when staying Gulf Side. Breathtaking!!!

You get $25 to spend per day at the Beach House Social (attached restaurant), would rather have the option to choose where to spend it, as the Beach House Social does not meet our expectations. Would rather not be charged the $25 destination fee per day for this "luxury".

We enjoyed having everything we needed right there. The location and view were amazing! The bar, snack shop, upscale restaurant, poolside service, gift shop, and ice cream shop were all wonderful.

It never quite felt or smelled like the room was particularly clean…one day we didn’t get service at all. A fairly large bill from the pool bar/snack shop was on our bill twice. It was immediately removed when I pointed it out on my printed receipt. The pool was not clean. There was visible algae along the sides and in corner areas. There was a constant layer of sand on the bottom. Having managed pools in the past I am aware of how difficult it is to keep sand out of a beach pool, but it wasn’t vacuumed at all during our stay.

All of the staff we encountered were wonderful. Extra thanks to Hayden who helped us the most often. The pool area is beautiful, and it was great to have a way to order food and/or drinks from the pool area w/o going inside. The breakfast provided each morning had a variety of cold/hot items. Snacks were available each day between noon and 1 p.m. Wednesday evening ice cream creations could be purchased after 5 at White Caps. There were several restaurants nearby including the restaurant at Springhill Suites. The view from our balcony was amazing. We are ready to go back asap.

When the three of us got to our room, there was no bedding for the sofa bed and insufficient towels. We tried to use the phone to call front desk but it didn't work. We went downstairs to the front desk, and a wonderful woman called housekeeping and maintenance to take care of the issues. Everything was eventually taken care of after a couple more missteps, but we thank Hayden, Josh, and helpful woman (so sorry I didn't catch her name) for helping us.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The view from our balcony was perfect! Breakfast was good. We loved the dessert milkshakes and cinnamon rolls at Whitecaps. The dinner at Beach House Social was good. Loved the Smash burger and the Burrata salad!

The heater wouldn’t shut off in our room. It was extremely hot and the room didn’t look clean. The front desk switched our premium room that had 2 queen beds and a sofa to a room with just 2 queen beds. It was a lot cooler but we were bummed we were still charged the same amount even though we were moved to a smaller room.

Far exceeded my expectations. This is a four star hotel not a three! The king room was HUGE, so nice and clean, really big shower, excellent balcony view of the ocean. The pool is great and the lazy river was a fabulous touch. The hot breakfast is great every day and varies in options. House keeping was great. The grounds were so upkept and clean. This is more of a low key resort than a hotel. We will be back!

Great stay! All the staff were pleasant. Room was great. Perfect location. Beach was great. Whitecaps ice cream was AMAZING and their staff were fantastic! Overall a great place!

The two elevators were a little slow and seemed to have a mind of their own. Not a huge deal though but if I were picking anything negative that would be it. Oh, and I did feel like it was a little pricey but I'm probably just being cheap. 🙂

Great location, pool, beach volleyball, coffee shop on site.

Not environmentally friendly at all, everything in to-go containers, plastic everything. Straws from the restaurant on the beach, plastic cups. Come on Marriott…Protect that beautiful coastline in front of your hotel. Housekeeping ignored our room, would drop off towels and quickly leave. We had to hunt them down to clean our room (we stayed a week and sheets get sandy).

Lots of food. Large nice rooms. Separated from more crowded areas of the beach. Great pool but small and shallow for the size of the hotel. Gets very crowded fast.

Why are there no garbage cans?! I have to go all the way to the lobby to toss food that I don’t want in my room. Some staff were incredibly nice and others seemed to be annoyed to be there and it showed in their attitude towards guests. Air conditioning at night was not nearly cold enough. Tended to sweat every night. You can hear everything your neighbor says so very thin walls
