Immaculate Stay at the Gaylord Palms – Truly Exceptional! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I arrived at the Gaylord Palms, I was thoroughly impressed. There was truly nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. Every detail—from the immaculate rooms to the beautiful indoor gardens and fantastic dining options—was thoughtfully executed. I felt completely relaxed and well cared for throughout my stay.

The staff were wonderful. We were there for a dance convention & the desk clerk was able to give us a room very close to the convention hall. We ordered room service. It was delivered on time & w precise accuracy. My daughter & her friend totally enjoyed the pool & waterpark.

There was validated parking for the convention & upon check out, I asked for the validated rate, but they wouldn’t accommodate. I should have lied about having a vehicle & just got a daily ticket & paid that way. The mattresses were kinda uncomfortable too, but the linens & pillows were awesome.

Everything was spectacular!! Came for my daughters birthday, it was sold out so had to stay else where first but were so happy when we arrived here. This hotel has everything and makes you forget you’re in Florida. Incredible staff who quickly knew my kids by name, could not do enough to accommodate us, made a fuss about my daughter’s birthday, left Easter eggs outside our door as we travelled during Easter. I have severe allergies and despite serving thousands per day, the chefs remembered all 5 of my severe allergies and kept me safe daily. Pool entertainment is 10/10. We made so many new friends. I will not stay anywhere else but here.. expensive but worth every penny! Oh and alligator feeding in the lobby is chefs kiss!

check in is too late and by the time a family of 4 checks in and leaves their bags in the room, the water attractions are closed. the big water slides close at 5, the pool bar grill closed at 5 as well and the lazy River closed at 7. The room rate was $420 dollars for one night and the reason why we chose Gaylord Palms over other hotels were for the water attractions for our family. Hotel should let guest enjoy the attractions longer and at least offer some kind of complementary breakfast for such a high priced room.

Subject: Double Charge Inquiry – Stay from February 9 to 10 Dear Hotel Team, I recently stayed at your hotel from February 9 to 10 for one night. However, I noticed that two transactions were processed for my stay instead of one. When I contacted customer support, I was informed that the second charge was a deposit and that it would be refunded within 4-5 days. It has now been longer than that, and the amount has not been released. Could you please check the status of this deposit and clarify what is happening? Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I especially was impressed with a young man Darvell who worked at the flow riders so good with the kids who were in each session. He was kind and patient with my grandson.

Cost of buffet for breakfast is overpriced. At the sand bar by the pool I was treated very well by the server ( I am a white older woman) but I observed an African American woman had to show id in order to do a room charge but I had only to write my room number and sign my name) just an observation.

It's a lovely resort, an easy place to relax

I find it very odd that ourselves and my daughters family both left something behind (by accident) in our rooms. Called the same day tp see if they had been found, and in both cases was told nothing was recovered. We stayed on the same floor, a dozen rooms apart. The lost items weren't valuable, but they were still our property. I understand managing lost and found could be a nightmare to manage, but I would think found property could be kept for at least 24-48 hours.

We really enjoyed the entire property. All areas are great. My kids loved the amenities next to the pool area, for that reason A+++ for all the staff at the pool bar for their good attention and professionalism. The food was fantastic and the room couldn't have been better. We also want to thank the staff who was in charge of cleaning our room during our stay. Big Thank you to every staff of the hotel.

No comments at this time, everything in our opinion was fantastic, nothing negative, it's no time to start thinking in negative things while enjoying all the good things there are. Thank you very much once again for all the Hotel staff.

Parking is very confusing w the room key access. No place to temporarily park to check in and get the key. So you go into parking without a key and when you check out, we didn't know you need to hold onto one room key to exit. I had to go in and get a key again to get out of parking. This needs to be streamlined especially since majority of people drive in.

Linking room key to parking and lack of temporary parking space to first check in. Just general lack of directions, remember not everyone is local, we were coming from outside.

we did character dining at villa de flora… it was also my sons bday and had superman, batman and wonder woman to greet him. amazing! it almost went sour… apparently. we charge our breakfast to the room but bcoz the system automatically checks u out, the waiter rushed to us on d way out asking for credit acrd as payment… a little but humiliating… it look like we tried to con the restaurant for not paying…

system should allow us to pay as we had the credit card info on file
