The staff, restaurants, and location of this place are absolutely the tops! The ease of entry in and out of epic universe is of course the main draw of this hotel, but it really is a lovely hotel with nice views and quiet, comfortable rooms. We ate at flora taverna and the quick service coffee store and found both to be excellent. Staff are amazing and very friendly. The hotel is immaculately clean and brand new as of writing this review.

No water slide? Come on! It needs a water slide. The pool and hotel are lovely but they have a bit of a stiff/adult vibe. No vanilla ice cream or chocolate or any other kid flavors of gelato throughout our stay (just lavender honey, passion fruit dark chocolate, some vegan stuff, and coconut.) glad for the lemon and mango flavors. This hotel is more isolated than the other Loews/universal properties, which have ample options to walk around or dine close to the hotel (or pool hop). This definitely caters more to DINKS, couples, adult friends and other adults than families. Also you can’t get very far into the garden outside of the hotel without using a ticket to epic universe.

Our stay at Helios Grand was wonderful! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. We loved the convenience and early access to Epic Universe, the views of the park were spectacular, and the food and drinks were amazing. The staff was so pleasant and customer service was outstanding. We are already planning our return to Helios Grand for another epic family vacation!

The shower in the suite that we stayed in had poor drainage, a minor inconvenience. We let a staff member know at check out and they sent someone up to fix it. We would stay at Helios Grand in the future.

Inside the park. You can’t get any closer and have the quick ability to go back to your room.

Very pricey and not much dining options. You also do not get any perks for staying there. Early admission is available to all property hotels. Hard Rock offers express passes and cool transportation to the parks. Helios offers nothing.

Fantastic brand new hotel with great amenities. Lovely pool, gym and restaurant. Perfect location and direct access and early entry to Epic Universe which is a massive benefit! There was a small issue with one of the rooms, however the staff were excellent and dealt with it quickly.

The hotel's location is amazing, offering fantastic convenience for visiting the park. Our family room was spacious and featured comfortable beds and lovely bathroom fixtures. We also enjoyed the great food at the hotel restaurant and appreciated having a Starbucks on-site

The bar was closed until 4pm.

Scenery was beautiful! Access to the park was so convenient!!! Food at restaurants was delicious.

Maybe allowing hotel guest to enter party at 9:50pm to view light show up close. Access to the Blue Dragon from hotel would be great if not in park on that day.

The hotel is beautiful and the private entrance to Epic is amazing. The staff really take this hotel to the next level, everyone was beyond kind, helpful and went the extra mile.

They could have more than two staff members for check in, this took much longer than it should have.

it was in the park, and had a park entrance, it was new, and beautiful. the pool and pool bar were very nice also. the bathroom vanity was nice

rooms are too far from the elevator and couldn’t get in to the rooftop bar. the decor of the rooms could have been better.

The staff went above and beyond expectations. The concierge service by text messaging was excellent. You cannot beat the location. Being able to go from the park back to my room in minutes was extremely convenient.
