Tara (at the front desk) is awesome! We got into town a little sooner than we expected and we were traveling with our dog, so we asked if we could check in early. Tara and the head of housekeeping (who is also an awesome lady but I didn't get her name!) bumped our room to the top of the list to get it ready as soon as possible for us! There was a small early check in fee -which we expected. But there was also a pet fee and a security/damage deposit fee that we didn't expect. The damage fee is refunded though of course if you don't throw a crazy wild party and wreck the room! As awesome as the staff is though, the room itself was not the greatest. The facility as a whole is a little old and slightly run down with some definite signs of age. The beds were comfy enough though and the beach access is maybe 50 yards away so that was a big plus! There were pros and definitely some cons to this little spot, but it met our needs for the one night we needed it! Thanks again ladies!!

The location and pool were great! Beds were not awful. We loved the front desk lady! And considering there was only one cleaning lady for the entire place....it was clean. I seen her multiple times the day we stayed and she was working so hard carrying clean linens to every room.

Location is amazing, price is great, staff is awesome.

Towels are small.... but clean, and they will give u more if u ask.

The place was great for us this trip. Very nice and helpful staff. It is an old property, but it has been updated and is nice. The location was awesome. We wanted to get away and relax, and the motel is in a great location. We didn’t need a kitchen this trip, so the refrigerator and microwave were all we needed. The beaches were beautiful and where it is located is great for relaxing and enjoying the beach, ocean, and less people crowded around. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Nice fenced in pool and deck with plenty of chairs and space to relax away from the sand.

The only thing was the floor was a little dirty even at arrival, but it’s only sand and dust. Not enough to see, but you do get it on your feet. We just wore our flip flops or Hey Dudes after showers. I didn’t complain or even mention it, because it looked clean, and sand was blowing around everywhere when we opened up doors, so we understood.

Awesome smaller Motel in calmer area of PCB...near St Andrews park. Beach Access #2 right in the back of property. Great location 😄Comfortable clean beds. We stayed in Rm 203 & it had a front & back entrance which was neat along with windows to open for breeze 🙂 oh and the nice pool to soak in 🙃 All employees/residents were great & they made sure we felt at home. If we needed anything or advice they were there for us! Cool litte place ...we enjoyed it 👍 Near some great food & fun 😊 Family friendly forsure ....awesome room setups. Clean other than the typical sand 😁 We'll definitely be back to AVM again 👌

The front office workers were very nice and friendly. The guy especially, I didn’t ask his name but loved to see a friendly person working especially when it’s with people. Like greeting us and accommodating us. The area was really clean, the pool, like the dryer and washer at the location.

One of the dryers wasn’t drying the clothes. So had to pay double, money should be an option when using the washer and dryers and not just cards. Another thing that we didn’t like was the smell in our room. It smelled like cigarettes. I know there’s NO smoking in the rooms but I’m assuming not every one follows the rules. The smell was strong for us since we’re not around smokers. It gave me a headache and had to sleep with the window open in hopes to air out the smell.

I LOVE staying at this motel! No extra fees like with condos and so close to the beach! Close to patches and Schooners.. we love walking to both these restaurants! Love that it's not packed like near Peir Park. The staff is excellent and the rooms are nice! We love that the beach isn't packed as it is more residential in this area. We will most certainly be back

The staff was amazing, the beach was very close, the ice machine was always full, the beds were very comfortable, the laundry facilities were great, the pool was amazing, the beach was never crowded. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay there again next time we visit PCB 😁

The room could’ve been a little bit cleaner, the pillows were very subpar but I always bring my own so that didn’t matter to us. I would suggest offering laundry supplies in the office.

Very close to the beach, maybe one block- if that. Big family sweet was like an efficiency, with a kitchen and all; slept a family of 5 comfortably. Many restaurants and things to do close by. Pool was nice as well. Staff was wonderful.

It is an older property, and has a little wear and tear, but was clean.

Staff are phenomenal. Location may as well be on the beach, super short walk. Room was clean. Shower fantastic. This is a 1955 20-room motel that has been moderately updated. Great value, a gem in PCB

Owner should invest in making those small repairs like spots on bathroom ceilings, paint, caulk touch ups
