The overall experience was great for the price. The location is the best feature of the place as it is reasonably close to the beach and state park. We did not experience any bad smells or extreme uncleanliness. Definitely the best place to stay in the area!

There were some crumbs in the chair and on the floor and some imperfections in the furniture and small stains. However the bed, sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchen area were fairly clean which is what mattered to me. The room was a bit more cramped than I had imagined it would be. It was ok for us since we aren't the type to hang out at the hotel much.

Thank you for asking. I want to brag on the staff!!!! They were wonderful. It didn't matter what I asked, they were able to help us out. Infact after spending one night we decided to spend another night. It had been years since we visited Port St. Joe. We have already spread the news about the wonderful staff. They all were pleasant and had a smile on their face. They get a 100%!

The room was awesome! I loved the space and that it had a fridge and a mini kitchen which was perfect for us because we were staying on vacation. Room was clean and comfortable.

The pool was cold and small. It had a lot of bees around it and my children wouldn't swim, but the staff was very nice. The pool did have leaves in the pool like it had not been cleaned out in a while but it is an outside pool and that can happen.

We, liked the breakfast, the cookies, the pool, coffee, juice, and water. The staff was helpful and friendly. We also liked the kitchenette with the full size fridge.

The room definitely needs remodeling. The sofa was very old and uncomfortable to sleep. And there was a smell, like urine smell in the room. The bathroom also smelled.

5 STAR! EXCELLENT! STAFF WAS SPOT ON! ROOM WAS CLEAN. COMFORTABLE BED, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST CHOICES, POOL WAS CLEAN AND COMFY WATER TEMPERATURE, ROOM WAS VERY WELL EQUIPPED! WILL STAY HERE AGAIN. MY ONLY MINUS WAS THE COST. IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY . $100 /NIGHT WOULD FIT OUR BUDGET BETTER. IF THIS MAINSTAYS HAD A BEACH VIEW OR BEACH ACCESS, THE PRICE WOULD FIT.

You folks gotta work on the carpets. When you allow pets, you definitely should have different flooring. I wore my flip flops the entire time. Carpets were pretty nasty. Very musty smell. Able to open window, but that didn't do much. I stayed at Mainstay 3 weeks ago, different room same musty smell. Found a few dog treats on the floor. Area around toilet not clean, i cleaned it. Shower took at least 15 min to get slightly warm, I would run it, go to the lounge for breakfast, come back, and it just started to get warm. Never got hot. Both trash cans need replacing. Just a few things you need to work on.

Super friendly staff, quiet location, clean and comfortable facilities. Good Internet connection and nice selection at breakfast. The room had a well stocked kitchen in case you wanted to cook and there were TVs in both the bedroom and living room.

There was no signage along the main road to identify the hotel location; it's set back and we passed by before we saw it. Also, for anyone wanting something close to town this isn't. It is however a nice quiet place.

The staff are super friendly and polite. The breakfast is good for a hotel serve yourself breakfast. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Wish the lighting in the room - especially the bathroom was brighter. We stay here on occasion when visiting family in the area and it is always a solid choice. Clean and comfortable.

The room was nice, and clean. Loved the mini kitchen - especially the apartment sized refrigerator.

Breakfast was lacking. very bland. eggs and sausage were cold. variety was very poor. And Community Coffee is probably the worst tasting coffee there is. We just ate out after the first morning.

I didn't like not being taken care of by Booking.com. There was no way to get through to you people. All I got was a recording to put in my confirmation number, which I did several times with no help. Booking.com has become useless due to their ignorant use of automation . Negative -10 for Booking.com.
