The updated rooms are extremely attractive, spacious and bright. Location is awesome. Close to a lot of things by walking distance, and of course everything that is offered at fisherman’s village is literally at your doorstep. Parking is great for the hotel guests, because the property becomes extremely busy around 10 AM until about 8 PM so parking is definitely an issue if you are just driving up. The noise level during the day is high outside of your door, but the rooms are well insulated and the revelry is never too loud during normal sleeping hours. The staff was extremely courteous, and even got to know my kids names by the end of the stay.

The only knock I have on this day was that the floors in our room were pretty dirty. They didn’t look dirty, and whoever chose the flooring chose a great material for not showing dirt. However, my kids walked around, barefoot a lot and right after a shower early on their feet turned black.

A lot of walking if you’re disabled. The elevators are pretty much at each end of the property but it can be a walk to your room.

Convenient location to town and airport with shopping at Fisherman’s Village as well as dining. Beautiful views of Port Charlotte Harbor. Our suite was fresh and clean, beautifully decorated, roomy bathroom with extra sinks/mirrors for added convenience. The beds and bedding were fabulous! Great private outdoor balcony.

Elevator to 2nd floor office was out of order which was inconvenient with luggage and Florida’s humidity! Signs directing you to office should be clearer. Wooden plank flooring is wearing in some spots - could potentially be a problem - needs replacing.

Beautiful, well thought out, and spacious 2 queen bedroom suite with kitchen, lounge and diner. Felt brand new or at least excellently maintained and clean. This was ideal stop off and allowed us to chill out for the evening with our own bottle of wine and pizza having been in a hotel previously. I think Punta Gorda is underestimated as a location and this was at a very pleasant end of the city. Immediate access to boat excursions and above a pretty arcade of shops with a few bars and a restaurant.

We only booked for one night!

No bfast included. Ktch was equipped w/dishes, cooking utensils to be able to provision if staying an extended stay. But location central to most of Punta Gorda. We stayed on property, played cards and just enjoyed getting out of town for over night. Upon check out the desk manager recommended a local restaurant for breakfast that morning which was easy to find and had good food.

Other than the elevator still being worked on, nothing. The restaurant at the north end of Fisherman's Village was disappointing compared to a day visit a few years ago, but not having spent a night there before, I was very surprised how nice the facilities were and the office workers. Even the housekeeping crew were very friendly and courteous.

Fisherman's Village was phenomenal! Our room was beautiful and immaculate. The view was awesome as were the shops. We ate at The Village Brew House and the selections and food were exceptional. Really one of our best experiences staying somewhere ever! The pictures do not do the room or Village justice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our suite was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. Wonderful experience!!

There honestly was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect.

The suite was big and spotless clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Swimming pool across the street. The suites are spacious, modern and had everything we needed.

Hotel lobby/reception was a bit hard to find. I strolled through the entire shopping mall/village and by sheer coincidence found it when going up one of the many stairs that had a "only for hotel guests" sign next to it. We were just passing through Punta Gorda and the kids had a blast in the swimming pool, but it's a very quiet location which seems to be mostly inhabited by retirees with not that many things to do. Not at all a problem for us but one should keep this in mind when visiting this quiet and peaceful city.

Our suite was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the courtyard shops and restaurants. The Harbor walk and Charlotte Harbor tour boats were just steps away. Your staff does a great job of greeting guests through the property. They have done very well maintaining the property after the hurricanes.

The only thing we didn’t like was the birds in and around the pool.

This was a great property with well appointed suites including a nice balcony. Our room overlooked the marina, which was fun to watch the boats. Great locations downstairs is full of fun, shops and restaurants. We had a quick tonight staycation and will definitely return!

Everything on property was wonderful.

I loved the view of the harbor from our balcony. I also liked all the restaurants and ice cream/gelato shops. Lots of great shops! The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Amanda and Heather. The gals in housekeeping were also so nice.

There was some noise in the morning because my room was above a restaurant.
