The Well is a great little place for a cocktail, lovely grounds and historic lodging, loved the fire pits and conversation areas, friendly and knowledgeable staff--recommendations for food and spa were very good or excellent. Perfect location.

Included breakfast was a bit disappointing, given the pricing and high quality of facility, grounds and staff i.e. everything else. The entire experience (breakfast) would be better if served at The Well (suggestion), the food was little more than what you find at a Hampton Inn --but with better coffee. On a 1-5 scale, the breakfast was a "2" and everything else was a "5".

We liked the location. Close to many of the attractions. You can get on the trolley in just a couple of blocks or just walk to nearby restaurants. The breakfast was good. Eating on the porch and starting the day chatting with other guests was fun. Cooling off in the pool with a cocktail after a day of exploring was very relaxing. The beautiful landscaped grounds are a nice place to relax. Staff is friendly and helpful. We were greated with a glass of sangria when we checked in. We will stay longer next time.

Loved the king suite we were moved to, beautiful furnishings, very comfortable. Staff was phenomenal!

I had booked a king suite requesting grab bars/an accessible shower as I have mobility issues. Booking.Com told me that they had contacted The Collector and that wouldn’t be a problem, then processed my payment for a king suite. An accessible king was not available and we were put in a standard queen room without any adjustment to the bill as the hotel said this has to be requested through Booking.com. Trying to figure out how to do that?

The property has a nice atmosphere that is in line with the old town St. Augustine; everything is walkable from the inn. I like boutique hotels and this one fit that desire. The property is historic and the staff takes great care in keeping it maintained. The front desk staff, valet, and everyone else were very attentive.

The buildings are older and the wooden floors are a bit squeaky. If you stay in a first floor room, just know that some noise from the guests walking around in the room above will be heard below. It kind of added to the charm of the inn, though!

A true surprise as we haven’t stayed at this inn before. Quiet area but within walking distance to many St Augustine sites. Every staff member exceptional and friendly, true southern hospitality. The breakfast was a very pleasant treat nicely prepared and presented. Our tour of the property with the general manager was a delightful experience, very informative and fun. We will definitely return.

From check in to check out, everyone was so kind and good at making us feel as welcome as possible. Loved the bar The Well. Service amazing, drink choices perf and even the little fire pit was so great!! Bartender was so cool too!! Loved the room so cozy.

For the price I kinda expected a hot big breakfast but it got us through. Just wished there were more protein options like hot eggs.

Staff were great. Very quiet. Small pool but clean and few people there. Air conditioning in the room was excellent

Very limited food at the bar and it was not open enough hours. The breakfast was a little sparse.The room was a little too old fashioned and could have done with a better job cleaning - a dead bug found in one of the bedside drawers

Great valet service by a cheerful young lady. The gardens were a very nice place to linger. Location was perfect for walking to other venues.

Checked in and presented credit card which the staffer recorded. Later after arriving home another staffer called and wanted the credit card number again. Very narrow stairs to get to the room with only a partial handrail. No place to hang a towel near the shower and very small bath mat.

Lovely gardens, very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed and well appointed room. Every staff member was very friendly. Fascinating history of the grounds. Excellent light breakfast buffet. Very convenient location.

Location was fantastic, walking distance to many bars, restaurants and attractions! I too must absolutely rave about the staff, the hospitality was above and beyond our expectations! This will definitely be our new go to place to stay when we come back to St. Augustine…. many kudos to The Collectors Inn, job well done!
