Very nice historical hotel. Located in the center of town. Most areas of town are in walking distance. Restaurants are available inside the hotel and others within walking distance. Breakfast was reasonable and had a very nice atmosphere about it. Our waiter, Floyd, was outstanding. Very attentive and pleasant to talk to. Knowledgeable of the surrounding area with excellent recommendations.

Only thing we didn't care about was the room smell. It wasn't bad but seemed there had been some kind of air freshener sprayed or placed in the room. Just seemed unnecessary. Ceiling fan did help it to dissipate.

Awesome old hotel with lots of history. We had a nice meal and drinks in one of the restaurants (price was great for what we had) Really neat place

Our heat did not work very well and when I spoke to the front desk the lady didn’t have a lot to offer. I was expecting to be moved to another room since they were not full but eventually she told me we could have a space heater and that’s all she had to offer. It wasn’t the end of the world but I expected more for what I paid for the room. Not sure I will stay there again

The Windsor is located in the heart of downtown Americus and was perfect place to stay following our visit to Plains. It is a grand old style hotel with wonderful accommodations. We ate at the elegant Rosemary & Thyme restaurant in the hotel. Delicious. Also had drinks at Floyds in the hotel and sat outside on the open air veranda. There is a coffee shop located within the same building as well. I would seek out the Windsor any time I am back in the area.

Beautiful historic property that is well maintained. Quiet, & comfortable. We were able to park on the street just outside the hotel which made carrying luggage in easy. We had 2 wonderful meals at Rosemary & Thyme in the hotel.

A patron had a dog in the restaurant. He claimed it was a service animal but it did not have the service attire on. I feel people lie about service animals to be able to bring their pets on vacation, and the hotel can’t do anything about it 😢

Beautiful old hotel in the middle of downtown Americus Georgia at a great rate. Comfortable beds and well appointed bathroom.Walking distance to restaurants. Easy parking. Nice breakfast restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel.

Outside the room were bright streets lights that kept the room from getting totally dark, need to add black out drapes. There was only one hanger in closet.

Everything!!!! Absolutely beautiful hotel. We got a bright room with a nice, big remodeled bathroom. It had a huge shower and a really nice rainfall showerhead. Bed was very comfortable. Location was right in the middle of downtown.

The drinks at the bar inside (Floyd's) were a little pricey for the quality but otherwise everything at the hotel was fantastic! We didn't see any ghosts though, we were bummed ha.

We loved the ambiance of the historical hotel. We had a wonderful meal at Rosemary & Thyme with an excellent waiter. Highly recommended!

The parking was awful- only street parking on the blocks around the hotel. No dedicated lot. I had my 81 year old handicapped mother, and we couldn't access handicapped parking. We ended up lugging our bags up the side stairs to get inside from the parking location we found. This was the only negative to this location.

She’s old, but still elegant! Although the age is showing, the staff keeps the place clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and quiet!

Would be nice if there was coffee available in the lobby in the morning … but they really don’t have the space - my Keurig in the room was very helpful!!!!

The hotel is beautiful and just right. The interior atrium was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the room was comfortable and homey. The staff is great. They answered any questions I had and were very polite and made me feel at home. The hotel is within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants which adds to the experience.
