This is an older hotel that has been remodeled and renovated. everything in our room was new from the beds to the bathroom fixtures and COMPLETELY spotless! Thers is free wifi but no breakfast bar but you're only 3 blocks from downtown and many places to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This hotel is located in an older part of town but it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff are super friendly and care for their customer's complete comfort. Housekeeping came every day and gave us fresh new bath linens, took the trash out and cleaned the floors, every day! Our room was well equipped with an ironing board, iron, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge and big screen tv. We're planning a return trip this fall and will be staying here again. So, if you don't mind not staying at a big new expensive building and going out to eat then this is your place. We will be back and recommend Budget Inn!

The owners are hardworking and always accommodating with the needs my family has. They are constantly working toward improving the old motel feel with more up-to-date bathrooms and furnishings.

Because our room was the biggest room (4 double beds with dinette, so we could spend quality time together), it was harder to cool down. My husband and I normally have a different room and have never experience this before here. It took longer for the air to circulate but the owners are in the process of upgrading the room to fix the problem. They were very accommodating with this issue!

If you are looking at the outside of this establishment, you would think twice about staying but don’t , everything went very smoothly in check-in. The inside of the room is immaculately clean all refinished, beds are comfy outstanding shower nice TV, very quiet. I was very very surprised. no carpet which is a huge plus.

The woman at the front was very friendly to me. My key did not want to work at first but other than that the facility was very clean. It may not look like much from the outside but I was not disappointed at all rooms are redone and clean .Very good calm location. I loved that the woman at the front had vegetables growing around the place. She was outside replanting pepper plants at one point and conversated with us. Waving bye to me as I went to enjoy the town. The bathtub was wonderful the water temp and pressure were perfect. No bugs of any kind. I would recommend to anyone!

We were a little hesitant about booking a room here because of some of the reviews. We are very glad we gave it a chance and booked it! It looked like the place had been remodeled recently. The room was very clean. There was a good shower and water pressure. There was no carpet in the room, which is a great thing! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all.

The ice was not in a convenient place. We had to stay on the 2nd floor since no rooms were available on the 1st floor.

It was easy to get to and the people there were very helpful. It was also very clean and comfortable. Everything was new inside and they are working to upgrade the exterior.

The motel was close to the center of town. It was quiet and clean. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was a bonus. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in while traveling. The pillows actually supported our heads instead of completely deflating! Manager was helpful and friendly when our keycard briefly stopped working. Quickly got us back into our room. A bit expensive for a Budget Inn, but considering it’s fall in north GA it was actually a good deal.

There were a couple of bugs, but not a real issue for us. Pretty typical at hotels.

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly.

The only problem I had was the toilet flushing was a little weird but after another flush everything would go down.

First, I liked the area that the hotel was in. I also liked the view from the hotel room too. the room was very nice with updated amenities.

The only thing that I did not like was the hotel room heater was not working properly. I talk with the clerk and he advised he will make sure it gets checked. The room finally got warm the next morning.

The room was very nice and very clean, it even smelled great. The staff was very friendly. For the price it's very worth the stay.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that there's only one room that you can smoke in and from the way they talk they're about to go completely non-smoking. As a smoker I'd really like to be able to smoke in my room, but I guess I do understand it does stink, but everywhere you go it seems like everyone discriminates against smokers, but again like I said that's everywhere. Everything else about this place I like.
