The location is perfect for being downtown & having more time to enjoy all the things there without having to drive back & forth from other hotel. Sta ff were amazing in greeting us and willing to help at any time. SHOUT out to Will at the Blue Ridge location he was professionally phenomenal

We were however VERY disappointed that we could not sit in the bar area or out on the balcony for a drink and had to take it back to our room, as that was main amenity of the hotel that made us have the reservation. We had noticed that about the hotel when we were downtown previously & were looking so forward to that. I do hope that is available in the future. Our drive is 3hrs from Tennessee and would love to experience that at our next stay.

The breakfast area was very nice. The food was good, the dining room & food area was very clean & neat. The breakfast staff were very courteous, friendly, & professional.

Our room was not taken care of. The staff never made our bed or changed out the linens the 4 days we stayed in our room. The towels, tissues, & toilet paper were never replaced, except for the towels 1 day. We had to get towels, toilet paper, & tissue from the front desk personnel. We were very disappointed with the room service. Not good at all!

The roof top grill was an excellent way to spend an evening with a drink and some munchies. We were there for live entertainment on Saturday night. The performers were very friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and the food was excellent. The eggs at the complementary breakfast were the best we have ever had at a hotel complementary breakfast.

We didn't get breakfast and slept in. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway was right outside our window and was a very nice historic touch and hearing the loud train horn was nice, since my son loves trains. I wish we had more time to ride the train, but we will return to tour. The views were scenic for the trees turning fall colors. Great location! Modern hotel was decorated nice and clean. Also, they accommodated an early check-in so that we could change for a wedding. We liked the parking gate access to the lot in front of the hotel.

Nothing bad and all good. We liked everything.

We stay at Hampton Inns whenever we have the opportunity. This was by far the nicest Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. The property was clean, it was well located, and it had an in-house restaurant on the roof, which served excellent food. When I called down to the desk to ask about locating a menu for the restaurant, Courtney found one for me and sent it up to the room.

The only minor negative I can come up with is that we had to pay five dollars a day for parking on the Hampton Inn property.

It was good.

We were told the restaurant on rooftop was open on Thanksgiving. We were traveling and not home for Thanksgiving and hoped to at least have dinner there since everything else in town was closed. We called the desk at 4. They said it was open so we went upstairs at 4:30 and were told it will not open. We had no food, drink etc. We drove around town and finally found a restaurant to eat at. Thank goodness. We packed up the next morning at 4:30 am and headed to Florida. Very disappointed in Hampton Inn. We just wanted to relax from driving in a nice place and have a decent meal.

Enjoyed the view from our room and the spaciousness of our room. Enjoyed the daily breakfast with amazing options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was great within walking distance to attractions, shops, and restaurants.

The location of our room was convenient however it was very close to the entry door to the hallway where the rooms are located and there was a high traffic volume which made it noisy.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The facilities were outstanding. The rooms were modern and well kept. The breakfast area was well designed for seating and self-service. The Bar/Restuarant rivaled what you find in a big named Hotel

We were not all together but the Will was able to get two rooms across from each other so kids were close to an adult.

The location was perfect. We could walk anywhere we wanted and we had a view of the train and shops from our room

Our tv wasn’t connected to the internet and a repairman never came But we were able to get all major networks and all HBO channels. No Nexflic The Inn was nicely decorated and well staffed. A very well kept Hampton Inn We would definitely stay there again.

We planed to ride the Blue Ridge Senic Railway on this trip and this hotel was prefect for that. It was in walking distance from the depot. It is right downtown with restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. The hotel itself appeared to be new or recently updated. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
