Location was great.

Hotel check-in staff particularly the afternoon checkin lady.. she had blond hair..think her name was Amy was rude and made a mistake in charging the wrong credit card then acted like it was my fault. She wanted to argue with me instead of listening. I told her not to be rude and she threatened to throw me out of hotel.. very loud and not customer service friendly. She was mostly outside on her phone with no one at desk when I saw her the two following days. This was a big weekend in Rome Ga.. and staff was ill prepared for amount of guests checking in...We had friends who checked in on Saturday around 4 and had to sit in lobby for hour and a half because room was not ready.. there were approximately 20 people waiting on rooms for the same reason.

The property is very clean and appears to be newly built. Air freshener diffusers are located throughout the building and the whole place smells fantastic. There’s a gas fireplace in a sitting area outside the breakfast room that is really very nice! The location is walking distance to the federal courthouse (5min walk) and there’s plenty of great restaurants in the area, including a Papa Johns pizzeria directly across the street. There’s much more I could say about the spacious rooms and helpful staff, but I’ll sum up my review by saying I give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating.

I honestly have no complaints.

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. It smelled so good in the lobby and elevators. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the lady working the breakfast area was friendly.

There was outside noise from the street while trying to sleep but we brought a fan and it helped to drown it out

I don’t like the new tip scanner thing. It’s where you eat. Also has it in the room then trying to find the person you want to rip.. they all did a great job, and probably need to raise their pay.

Breakfast was good and replenished in a timely manner . The patio with the fire pit big plus for our group traveling for our Darlington reunion . We hung out there several hours Fri & Sat .

Perfect location in the historic downtown. Beautiful Hampton Inn, recently renovated. Staff very helpful. Very clean, comfortable. I like Hampton Inns and this one was better than most.

You have to create an account and put in your password to get access to the wifi. This was crazy. Did not do this

The beds were comfortable The room & bathroom were clean The shower was very good

The hot breakfast was very low and the biscuits hard & cold. It was replaced but I was ready to leave. It might be good to keep an eye on the food when the hotel is busy.
