- Across the street from the beach - Water bottles in the room - They gave our party of three two adjacent rooms that we could open to each other - Parking garage very easy to find. Lots of space in the entrance area for unloading the car.

We would have liked this more if we didn't before reside in a 4 star hotel that was better in many respects (more quiet, nicer rooms, etc etc) than this (Halepuna Waikiki). - We were on the third floor and the windows do not keep noise out. You can hear most things from the street (and it's busy until late at this spot). - The pool is fairly small and overcrowded. Don't expect that you can swim in it - it feels to be made for Instagram and lounging more than swimming.

Hotel was right opposite the beach, with many shops around which was very convenient.

Bath/ toilet area was a bit small in comparison to the rest of the room. General hotel area, a bit outdated, carpets etc could be updated.

We booked a partial ocean view room which gave us actually An amazing view. we loved our room. Bed was super comfy and the room was a decent size. Location was amazing as it was across the road from the water which was really nice. Shops down the bottom of the hotel were amazing. The pool in the hotel was nice with a good view of the water.

The room cleanliness could have been a little better. The shower when we first arrived probably could have done with a clean as it still had hair in it.House keeping was not good. House keeping is only done every second day which is fine but we weren't told this. Even when house keeping was done they don't clean the room just replace the towels and make the bed. Other than this the hotel was amazing and we absolutely loved our stay here.

I was concerned going into this trip because the reviews were so mixed. People either hated or loved the hotel. I was happy with our stay, it didn't seem as bad as other people's experience. We probably went at a good time due to shoulder season. We upgraded to a Diamond Head view. The view was pretty amazing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC is strong if you're right next to it. Temp control worked fine. The strength stays the same. The bathroom door didn't touch the toilet when closing. Yes you have to fully go in to close the door. I'd say thank goodness there's a door for privacy. The hotel is close to some restaurants and ABC stores but the shopping and variety of restaurants is on the other end of Waikiki. Our 9 yr old didn't like the walk. The beach is across the street. You get 3 free rental items with Beach Candy two blocks down. The pool and hot tub was nice, especially to catch the sunset. We didn't find any issues with getting lounge chairs. The food at Swell was delicious. The gym was nice with lots of equipment. My kids rented a basketball and soccer ball from there to use outside on the 9th floor. We rented a car for a few days and parked the car at around 4-5 pm with no issue. The stalls are your basic size so if you rent a truck or oversized vehicle the stall will be small. There can be a wait for the elevators but it's really not that bad unless you're not able to stand for more than 30 seconds. We had to go down to reception a couple of times if we needed something because no one would answer from house keeping. But they were quick to assist with what we needed. You get $15 dollar credit each cleaning day if you opt out of room cleaning. It's every other day. We arrived Saturday night. The cleaning staff were there Sunday but not on Tuesday so we had to confirm with the front desk on Wednesday what the schedule was.

Our room was clean enough. The cleaning staff on the 30th floor did a great job with the room and balcony. Staff should generally look at walls or other parts of the room though. The carpet on our floor, in the room and in the elevators should be cleaned. You see it hasn't been done in a long time. The rooms are plain and boring. Additional hooks on blank walls would be nice to hang bath towels or clothes. Seems like there's not enough staff to handle the amount of people staying at the hotel because some staff didnt look too happy to be there. I would not want to go during peak time.

Great facilities. Friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect location. Great view of the ocean. Lots of activities/classes running every day.

Some towels were stained. Missed room service. Not enough information about what activities were running.

Great location and good room

The guy behind the bar at the pool was very rude as opposed to our server who was a delight. Also your description of the sea view was not all that accurate as you needed to go out onto the balcony to see it althouh that wasn't a detractor.

Great hotel in a central location. Pool bar and beach was a stand out for us on our trip.

When looking at the pictures before we booked, I was excited to be able to use the cabanas that were pretty prominent in all pictures on Booking.com alongsidethe pool. I was disappointed to find that you actually have to pay for these, and at a hefty price being $500+ plus spend. I believe that amenities like this should be free for guests, especially if you're staying at the hotel which already comes at a hefty price. While we were there, they were mostly vacant. I believe that if the hotel made them free, they'd probably make more money from them from people buying food/drinks anyway.

great location

pretty expensive for what it was, room was supposed to be a partial ocean view and it was a giant air vent outside and some rubbish below we could smell.

We liked the location and proximity to everything like beach and restaurants. Another cool feature was that we could rent the beach chairs and umbrellas at the rental place by the beach for free if you return it on time. You can grab beach towels by the lobby. Staff is very friendly, check in was quick, lobby is very nice and modern.

The bedding and towels quality could be better. Cleaning is every other day. The pool area is too small for the amount of guests. We weren't able to use the pool even once unfortunately. Also the "ocean view" rooms have side/partial ocean view, not ocean front. Parking in $48/ night, $55/ valet.

It was relaxing and close to the beach and easy to navigate

The rooms were kinda small for party of 3. The property didn’t have microwave in the room but had a refrigerator. Could use some updates in room
