We stayed here for 7 days - would happily have made it 14! A well located hotel, just a short block behind the beach but retains ocean views from the ocean side. Hotel was quiet as it did not have lots of people passing through it as some of those right on the beach did. We had a deluxe ocean view room which had a great view out to sea and a little to the west. Great to wake up to each morning. Small but nice balcony was a good place for a glass of wine afternoon or evening. Bathrooms modern and good size. The pool area was good, quiet with not many children. Staff at front desk were very helpful as were cleaning staff. Easy access to beach through a small laneway between Sheraton and Halekulani. Some nice daily/ weekly activities offered each day (eg wine one day, and ice cream sample the next) Halepuna bakery next door is excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was beautiful on 23rd floor, spectacular views and lovely amenities and facilities. Pool area was great , 8th floor, good views over the beach below. Small menu but delicious cocktails. Great location, close to a sandy easy access beach area and lots of restaurants and shops close by .

Attempted to check in early and was prepared to pay additional charge, advised they would text when room was available but no contact made, they did give us access to the pool during this time though which was great. Room service food was well below what I’d expect from a hotel of this standard and would not recommend ordering from here.

Location is absolutely top-notch - right in the heart of Waikiki. It is hard to beat this location - next door to Halekulani, Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton. Initially, we were given a room with a unpleasant view on the Waikiki side looking straight out to a car park, which was also a little noisy. However, after speaking to the manager (Ryan was superb on this front), we were moved to the ocean side - one room at no extra cost and the second for US$25 per night I think. These were stunning by comparison and really made the trip. Nice touches were the complimentary daily activities - one was a wine night between 5-7pm and the other we attended was shave ice between 3-4pm. Also brilliant location to the beach - probably 1 minute walk.

Only the initial room issue described above. We were also expecting interconnecting rooms but they don't actually connect but do have a large outer door that you can lock that only allows access to the two rooms you have booked.

Friendly courteous staff from Reception to Housekeepers Hotel has a peaceful ambiance that was valued. Not a foyer full of noise and chaos as some other well known Honolulu hotels. Excellent location & a wonderful bakery next door with fresh produce & excellent coffee. Housekeeping of a high standard

Whilst we well understand that check in is advertised as 3,00pm, interestingly we arrived at the Hotel at 2.40pm to be advised our room was not yet available. It made me wonder if the Hotel was strict on its check in policy & considered 2.40pm too early to check in even if the room was available thus asking the guests to wait till 3.00pm. OR was the room genuinely not available and still being cleaned between 2.40pm and 3.00pm?

The conjoined rooms was great with the kids. We had some privacy and they thought it was great having their own 'room' yet we were still all together.

The lack of in-room kitchen facilities and restaurant options made breakfast in particular hard, particularly with kids. A kitchenette would have been great to make some mornings a bit easier and to keep more snacks handy

The view from our room was amazing. We liked that we had a small balcony to enjoy the views. The location was great, close to the beach and many restaurants and bars.

We did not know that the hotel offered towels for the beach, as the door where we arrived was actually the back door, and we did not see anywhere that the other door had towels and tother beach equipment.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel itself was spotless, the rooms were beautiful with amazing floor to ceiling windows with good black out curtains too! The staff went above and beyond for us including going to such lengths to return a lost item to my possession after I checked out, so grateful for their help. There is also an amazing pool area which felt peaceful as well! All the staff are such a credit to this lovely hotel.

This hotel is expensive, very expensive, but the room is so clean and the facilities amazing that I really felt it was worth it. If you are someone, like myself, who likes extreme cleanliness, I would say this is for you. Location is central, in the heart of Waikiki, so you can walk easily to the beach, if you are a beach person. All in all, if I'll ever come back to Hawaii, this is def the place I would stay again.

I know this hotel has great reviews but I thought it was only OK. Nice, minimalist decor but it also feels a little generic and lacked atmosphere. Had a slightly upscale feel to it which was nice.

While very clean, streamlined, and efficient, I can't say there was anything particularly memorable about staying here. The location was good and it served it's purpose of simply being a clean, reliable place to sleep.

Super welcoming staff (only one that spent generous gift for our honeymoon!). The building and room is modern and cleaned and the staff helped up for any request

We had to pay extra for the king size bad even if requested in the reservation. The upgrade worth all the money for the type of the room, the view of the ocean, and the huge size of the terrace (ask for 8th floor room in case!)
