Location is the strongest factor of this hotel. Hotel itself is a bit aged but in very good, clean condition. Rooms are well insulated from any noise - we didn't hear anything even though the hotel was at full occupancy. Beds unfortunately are way too soft and uncomfortable (personal opinion). The pool deck is in shade most part of the day so we didn't use it, besides there is beach 5 min walk away and you can collect a beach chair OR boogie board from hotel (1 piece per room). Overall we had a lovely stay. Didn't use hotel breakfast or restaurant so can't comment.

Beds - to soft for us.

Very well located and connected through the bus line that stretches from the airport to Waikiki hotels. Thw Kuhio beach is 50m away and very practical for all water activities. Some of the staff are really helpful and caring. The facility has all amenities to make your stay comfortable, coffee and tea, a fridge in room. The in-house laundry is very practical. The bed is comfortable and I'd definitely recommend the rooms with Sea view. The air-conditioning is controllable and very comfortable, especially if you don't like sleeping in an igloo.

I wasn't lucky upon check-in and was welcomed by a member of the staff who wasn't very helpful. She gave me the hotel brochure to figure it out. The room's furniture can seem outdated and not well cared for, i.e. the sofa while practical, has all its linen scratched and not very appealing. The color schema makes the room feel late-70s and not modern. This could use a bit of rework.

I stayed here for a week and I'll first start with the quality of the room. The room was cozy and comfortable, but you can tell they remodeled from the old design. When you remodel, whether that's a bathroom or carpeting, you should never be able to tell it was remodeled. Especially when it's your first time there. But the overall color scheme was decent. The bathroom was nice, but shower was a bit too high which is an accident waiting to happen. Make sure you close the balcony door for a.c. to work. If its not closed, it will be very humid and hot in the room. The balcony was cute. I don't like small balconies though. It's just a phobia of mine. The best part about this hotel was the everyday breakfast. I was in love with the miso soup. There's a huge Japanese population and tourist in honolulu, so it made sense to have it. The eggs and bacon were good. I also tried the HUGE pancakes at the mac restaurant. They were yummy. The lobby was beautiful. So was the spa. I didn't get a chance to try the pool or room service. My only complaint is to have a microwave present for guests. Especially for after hours when room service closes. And the 450 dollar hold.... just add it in the total price of the stay. It helps people budget better. The hotel is very close to the beach. You can see it from the balcony, at least from the room I was in. Everything is in walking distance.

Not having a microwave The additional hold they take out when checking in. How the ac works Certain spots on the walls

Reception Kit was very friendly and accommodating when we first arrived, updated to a ocean view, we booked a further 2 nights and Kit allowed us to stay in the same room. 2) Beds we’re comfortable & pillows were 10/10. 3)Great location to shops & beach 4) Robot was funny to watch deliver food 5)Pool was at a beautiful temperature but spa was a little to hot

1) Pool bartender on the first & second day wasn’t friendly, didn’t welcome us, didn’t smile. You really need to employ a nice friendly bartender, we didn’t continue to buy drinks as the service was that bad 0/10. 2)Paying extra to use pool lounges when in Fiji or any other island these lounges are free, they sat empty for 5 days:( 3)Breakfast only served Bacon once during 6 days, not much variety..6/10 bananas & no bacon or muesli mix. One variety of yogurt.

Queen beds! Yah! We had 3 adults and sooo many Waikiki Hotels in your price bracket only had double beds. So happy we had more space. Staff were super friendly. Pink trolley at door. Easy stroll to the beach. 24/7 delicious pancakes. Love the pool area and games provided

At breakfast found it odd I could not get a skim cappuccino. Waiter advised something about machine and I think he said powdered milk. He said I would have to go out to the cafe to buy a takeaway coffee and carry in. Learnt my lesson and did this on our second visit. Laundry. Said I should be able to log in to an app and know when my machine would finish. But no matter how many times I tried to enter machine code it wouldn’t work. Appeared like number of digits required for machine code was different on machine to the app.

Near the beach and Wikiki shops, efficient valet parking

The Bar, not good enough for a Hilton. Friday closing was to be at 23:00 but at 22:20 we were told that was last service. On request we were serviced another round but in plastic glases. In a Hilton I would expect an after hours bar for resident guests. I accept that may not be the norm in USA but we do expect it in Europe hence my didapointment. Also the tours desk people were nice but they did not give us the right answers. Told us we would need to book the Arizona Memorial trip with them and it was an 07:30 start. We drove there ourselfs at midany and had no problem visiting the memorial and it was free.

Location was great! Right in the thick of all the beach commotion and trolley tours. We had the King Size Room facing the beach…. beautiful views! The amenities - gym, pool area with mini golf and outdoor games, laundry room and ice machines were some of the many we used during our stay. All were great! We spent most of our time by the pool - bar staff were friendly and great. Pool and spa were great and loved that it was opened til 10pm! We weren’t aware of a security bond, or what “resort fees” were - but Dexter was of great assistance in explaining it all at the check in desk. Although, I should’ve done my research. A small hiccup but it was all up from there! The convenience store across the road was very convenient, including the restaurant and bar in the foyer. 2 min walk to the beach, and close proximity to any great food - food trucks, McDonald’s and other restaurants all within a min walk. Be sure to try Leonard’s Bakery - 7 min drive from hotel and book the Diamond Head hike - 5 min drive. Took a lot of videos, not many photos though - 1/ view from our balcony, 2/ sunset at pool lounge, 3/ view from Diamond Head hike, 4/ Leonard’s Portugese Donuts

The only thing I could fault was out of my 4 night stay my room only got cleaned once. Only 1 night I had the privacy sign on the door, the other days I didn't. I didn't expect it every day (and I don't believe you do that), but perhaps once that could have happened.

- We arrived at the hotel before check-in time. And not only were we given a room right away, but they also upgraded us to Mountain View on the top floor. I had my birthday during our stay, so it was a really great surprise. - The room was spacious. I was especially grateful for the iron and ironing board. Everything looked like new. Very clean. There were both - a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. - We brought our own beach towels and it wasn’t necessary at all. Beach/pool towels were available for guests. And I didn’t see any signs about quantity limit. - Breakfast was included in our booking. We had it in M.A.C. restaurant on the first floor. They gave us coupons - one per day for each person. You can order one meal and one beverage (black coffee, tea or juice) from the menu with this coupon. Not everything in the menu was available with a coupon but still it was a good choice for us. (You can check the menu on the website.) - Pool area was really nice. It felt especially cozy near fire pits in the evenings. - A gift shop on the first floor. I found it extremely convenient. It was open until 8:45 pm. You can buy snacks, soft drinks there. As well as some hygiene products and painkillers I guess. And souvenirs of course. - Free drinking water available in the lobby. - An ice bucket in the room. Ice machines were on different floors. - 5 elevators, they operated quite fast, we hardly had to wait.

- There was no holder for toothbrushes. - Cups for tea/coffee were paper cups. Although there were glasses for water. - It was fine for us but just for information - pillows and mattresses are very soft. I believe it would be uncomfortable for those who can only sleep on a firm surface.

Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly. Beautiful views of the ocean. Overall a very good hotel option.

Hot water was out one of the days we were there, Made showering very uncomfortable. Bathroom a lot of the time had an unpleasant smell. Also, when you check in, the hotel takes an extra $300 USD to hold. We received our money back at the end but with that amount of money, I believe it should have been mentioned clearly prior to booking.
