The location for the price was unbeatable. Less than one block away from the beach and close to the zoo. You can park your car for way less near the zoo. Free water in the lobby was a great amenity and so was getting the beach towels without having to exchange coupons or anything like that. Staff was very helpful, room were clean and new. Plenty of fresh towels and overall for the price this was an amazing hotel

The faucet in the bathroom. Has an awkward position. First world problem I guess. Don’t worry though, you will love it here.

Parking wasn't sufficient. Arrived on a Friday night and drove around looking for a place to park the rental car.

Excellent location, close to bus stops, ABC stores, Waikiki Beach, restaurants and cafes. Hotel was very clean, though the bathroom was a little cramped but had a full bath with shower over. Bed was very comfortable, if somewhat soft, but worked excellently for me. My sister preferred a slightly firmer bed but slept well regardless. Loved the option of 'floaties', beach chairs, beach umbrellas and towels available freely from reception for our trips to the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, food carts and local eating places within very close proximity. You have to try the Coconut Shrimp and the ribs at Tikitiki's just next door - food sooo good! The 42 or the 20 bus which you can catch at the end of the street takes you all the way out to Pearl Harbour and beyond. Great for getting to and from Ala Moana Mall too. And for ANYTHING you need from a new shirt to cold drinks, there's at least 4 nearby ABC stores within a one block radius. We would definitely stay there again.

Would request a higher floor room and one facing the ocean if staying there again. We were disappointed there wasn't a kettle in the room for making a cup of tea, but there is a coffee maker. Ther isn't a pool, but the beach was only one block or about 150 metres away.

Nothing at all

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Renew! This place is a true hidden gem nestled among the usual hotel chains, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The attention to detail in the decor and ambiance made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. We can't recommend Hotel Renew enough! If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable stay, this is the place to be!

A Must-Visit: The Perfect Blend of Comfort and Charm!

The room had a view of the beach, it was clean and nicely set up though small. The beds weren't as large as we were used to, so it was a little squishy for 2 adults and 2 kids to share. It was fine for an overnight stay and the staff did all they could to allow for an early check-in (very much appreciated). Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was free coffee in the morning. There are ABC stores everywhere nearby, a shave ice place and loads of food options (Lu Lu's & Cheeseburger in Paradise were great). The beach is half a block walk, if that!

For a night it was fine, but it did not have much room for a family if you want to stay longer (would recommend 2 rooms)

I loved the location across the street from Waikiki beach. There are also many restaurants around (I personally recommend Barefoot Beach Cafe on the beach). The hotel has chairs and towels you can use for the beach which is great. They have free coffee every morning which was delicious. The staff were so helpful and recommended places to eat and things to do. I appreciated their recommendations that were not touristy.

My room did have a little bit of a smell and I could not figure out what it was. I was able to keep my windows open and it aired out. Also, the lobby has a perfume diffuser which I am allergic too. The smell would get into the elevator and the halls so I covered my doors with my pillows to block the strong scent. Some people may like smelling perfume all the time, but I got a sore throat and it made me cough.

Staff was very friendly & courteous. The location and price was great!

For the 1st 4 days, everytime the elevator doors would open, it would reek with the smell of marijuana. Also, the ppl next door would have extremely LOUD sex quite often that not even the TV volume being raised would drown it out. There was also a couple of days where housekeeping did not service our room. One of those 2 days, they simply just made our bed and that's it. Trash was not taken out, dirty towels were still there nor replaced with clean ones, & we were out of toiletries. Parking is VERY expensive & alternative parking is scarce.

The property was so cute and was in a perfect location literally a stones throw away from the beach. This was my first time in hawaii and I went for me and my best friends birthdays. Immediately upon arrival I felt so welcome and happy that I chose this hotel over some giant chain that doesn’t care that you’re there. This staff totally does. They offered us lavender baggies for our rooms which is just so cute and made me feel really calm when I slept lol. They also gave us pineapple juice which was literally the best i’ve ever had and my friend kept saying she should ask for more, that’s how good it was. Once we got to our room they brought us wine and a happy birthday card and it was so sweet and a lovely start to the trip. The staff was so so so sweet especially Erica, who we saw a lot throughout our trip. She and other members of staff would remember our room number and what car we had which just goes to show how personalized and thoughtful they are. Parking is also a valet service which is just always a plus especially for poor parkers like me. Another great thing they do is letting you borrow beach gear which was a HUGE plus and we utilized that for snorkeling which we wouldn’t have been able to do without them (renting is so expensive some places) borrowing it with no charge was awesome!!! :) Other notable things about the stay is how funny and kind all the staff were (me and my friend spent a good amount of time talking to them), how accommodating they were and how willing they were to help with anything. When I come back to Hawaii I will 100000% stay here :)

The staff was super welcoming, responcing to all requests and kind. Can't beat the view from upper floor, facing the ocean. And of course the proximity to everything that waikik has to offer w.out needing a car was great. Their extra perks were also a neat suprise.

The AC in our room was on the noisy side, but thats actually also a good thing, since it's a busy city with city noise pretty much 24/7. Noisy AC acted like a noise canceling machine.
