For the cost I thought the experience would be more pleasant. The staff was not friendly on my arrival nor the day I checked out. The place is very beautiful but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again for this reason

Location was great - right in town, across the street from the ocean, and shops/restaurants close by. It was nice to have breakfast included. We stayed there for 6 days and liked that they changed up the breakfast each day to give a bit of variety. Staff were super friendly. Hotel was very clean. Outdoor pool and lounge chairs were nice to have. It was great that we could take out beach towels for the beach. There was ample parking at the hotel - we were able to get a spot every day. It was a great stay.

Signage for the hotel is poor. It is very easy to pass by the hotel as there is only a small sign on the road, and the hotel doesn't even have a sign on the building. There should be a big lit up sign on the hotel building that can be spotted from afar and also one on the road showing where to turn in before the road to turn down.

Nice hotel, all seemed clean and rooms very nice and comfy. Breakfast was great as well. Pool looked nice, but didn't have time to enjoy it. Front desk people friendly. ($15 addt'l hotel parking fee fyi) Walking distance to restaurants on Ali'i drive along the oceanside. A lot of homeless people asking for money, weed, beer. But plenty tourists around in evening with hustle bustle - shops, food, music, etc. Watched beautiful sunset before returning to room.

OMGoodness trying to get to the hotel was horrible!! Little to NO signage anywhere! Kept getting re-routed almost a mile away bc of detours and construction and none of the parking lots you're directed to turn into connect with the hotel. Do not take Sarona off of Kuakini Hwy as directed, as Sarona is a one-way street; you also cannot get to hotel off of Hualalai St - pkg lots do not connect. SO frustrating!! Tight parking spots. Then had to pay $15 to park!! Wasn't aware of this prior. :(

Staff at front desk when we checked in was friendly. The room was spacious for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable to sleep on. The water pressure in the shower was nice and strong. Good location.

There was a small cockroach in the bathroom when we checked in to our room. The tiled floor in the room was very sticky. There were only 2 hangers in the closet.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfy! What surprised me was the desk, chair, and free wifi. Unfortunately, the lighting in the room and the weak network connection made working online a challenge. The complimentary breakfast included hot oatmeal or cold selections. One odd thing was the Kalua pig and cream of mushroom soup, also served for breakfast.

Having to pay for parking seemed excessive. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good and the room was clean.

There was no sheer curtain over the windows, just the blackouts. The lighting was super dim inside. So street side, if you want good light, you open the blackouts and feel totally exposed OR keep the blackouts closed and have horrible lighting. Also, you can hear people walking back and forth above you. Hopefully, you get quiet guests...we did not.

The location is so convinient. It’s walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and the farmers market. The room is very spacious with microwave and mini fridge. They lend out beach towels going out and exchange as often as needed. The staff are friendly, especially, Donna from the front desk. The house keeping are considerate about changing the towels. Pancakes & P.O.G. Juice for breakfast.

Finding a parking spot can become difficult if you come back late. You pay $10/day(+tax)… yes, they tax the parking. I wish they had rice or potatoes with their breakfast luncheon meat, Portuguese sausage to cut through the saltiness instead of having biscuits and gravy everyday which is also salty.

Great location in the middle of Kona, convenient with parking around the building available for free. We were in Kona in the week of the Ironman for two nights and we appreciated the possibility to join in on the festivities around the competition thanks to the great location. The room was big (king suite was the only room left when we booked, so possibly regular rooms will be smaller) and well equipped.

The complimentary breakfast is not worth the name. It is a nightmare come true for anybody with a prejudice about bad US food habits. No fruits or regular yogurt available, everything offered was fatty and/or full of sugar. Considering what we paid for the room, this breakfast is just not good. Nice coffee shops with fresh and healthy options close by (but of course at additional costs).

Staff members put on an early breakfast for all the athletes and family before they headed down to the Ironman world championship race. Yes at 4.30 am the buffet was full of all the great food they had been serving all week. They went above and beyond and it was truly appreciated. So much kindness

It was a very busy time during our stay so sometimes the rooms might not have had clean towels left. We just needed to go get them and staff were very apologetic

Excellent location. Delicious food. Perfect for visiting the local area. We were so grateful that your staff stored our luggage after check out. And also allowed us to shower before our late night flight out. We were so hot and stinky from enjoying our last day on the island. We are so grateful and forever sing your praises. We were truly treated like family.

More rice...lol
