100% would stay here again!!! We arrived at 7:30am after we had a vacation rental nightmare near turtle bay resort. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and could obviously see we had a pretty rough time, and she was able to find us a room and got us checked in straight away. Staff were super friendly. The pool and hot tub were amazing And very quiet. The hotel location was great with a short drive to Haliewa one way, and the whole east coast from the hotel. We spent most of the days driving up and down the coast. Definitely the best side of Oahu. The hotel had beach front access which was completely empty with amazing views. We really liked the town the hotel was located. We were able to do free ukulele lessons and hula, as well as plenty of sports equipment to use free of charge. I am so glad we stayed here. It has been a highlight of our trip.

No bar, or alcohol consumption. But I realised why after a few days, and was fine with that.

I liked our room, affordable rental chair/towels Starbucks, beach access.

I thought I booked an ocean view. My room was inside a courtyard, 1st floor, and when I opened the curtains, people sitting at the table were very close and guests many guests stared inside as they were walking on the sidewalk which was very close. The bed was much too soft for my spine and comfort. Many other guests throughout the property were very rude perhaps because of my modest dresses werent modest enough and my Catholic behavior? I hadn't realized BYU was so close. The Mormons where I live in New Mexico are much friendlier and more tolerant of others.

Friendly service, music and performances were an unexpected but lovely touch. Pool area great. Cute beach just across street. Every convenience provided (beach gear, food services, laundry, outdoor showers and spigots to wash off sand).

Beds super soft, felt like partially inflated air bed, but we did all end up asleep. Can hear everything going on in hallways.

The hotel was absolutely spectacular! It's in a quiet location, with access to the beach just across the road and the hotel has the most amazing pool with a backdrop of the mountains. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and we were gifted a box of chocolates on arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel

We were not aware there is no alcohol however this wasn't a problem as we purchased some premixed cocktails out of town and enjoyed them in our room.

Location was excellent for the activities we booked and locations we visited. Staff were happy, friendly and professional. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

The coffee maker provided needs to be upgraded to Keurig to match the other amenities provided (refrigerator and microwave). I ordered a Mediterranean grain bowl but the dressing was so salty it made it inedible. I mentioned it to the food service staff and was disappointed they did not offer an option to replace it.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a box of Macadamia chocolates and given a helpful brochure with things to do along the North Shore along with recommended places to eat. (Don’t miss out on North Shore Tacos)! We loved the free ukulele and hula lessons, as well as the lei making class. We also enjoyed the live music in the evening! This hotel was a great place to feel the Aloha Spirit and get a taste of the Hawaiian culture. It’s also a short walk to the Polynesian Culture Center because it’s right next door.

Very good size of the room and the pool area is amazing. We only stayed 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. Very nice staff.

Sofa bed was not made even though the reservation said four people and not enough towels and pillows.

good location, close to turtle bay and across the street from nice local beach. room was a good size and with good facilities. property was clean and had good on site dining option, where we got breakfast. across a somewhat busy street was a nice beach that seemed to be used more by the locals.

the room got a bit hot and muggy, a/c was on but seemed to be struggling.

Property was in a quiet location away from the crowds in Waikiki. Great beaches nearby. Property has great outdoor facilities, beautiful areas to sit and chat or relax. Places to play outdoor games . Pool and hot tub were nice. Close to Polynesian cultural center which was a plus.

Would be great if there were suites with small kitchenettes( maybe there are I’m not sure).

Room was exactly what we needed. clean tidy, accessible to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed it so much, that we wished we would have stayed longer, rather than going to Waikiki for the remainder of our trip. Parking was great and spacious. Everything about our stay was exactly what my family wanted. We are already planning our return trip next year, and this time we hope to spend all our time at the Marriot.

I enjoyed my stay, the only thing I didn't like was that I didn't book for a longer period of time. I liked the slow quiet pace of laie. Others may find it too slow, but being a more mature person, I enjoy taking my time, and laying about. Younger people might not enjoy a slower pace.
