Wanted to stay in an old schoolhouse like the one I went to school in. Something novel

There were trains coming through the area every two hours at night, blowing their horns. My husband and I didn’t sleep much. We were given a room on the top floor, that meant climbing several sets of stairs to haul our suitcases, as there was not an elevator for this. Our bill showed a charge of three percent to use a charge card. Well when booking online, how else is a person to pay! The extra fees added up

The rooms were all decorated beautiful with the theme of each classroom. The Principles office had huge windows with a view of Downtown Bonners Ferry. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of driving. The breakfast was delicious.

There's nothing I didn't like. Will recommend it to others and will definitely return myself one day

Breakfast is served only at 8.30, but we needed to leave early. The hosts made us an ample to-go lunch pack. Thanks! It was hot the days we were in Bonners Ferry, and the heated outdoor pool was a great reward at the end of the day.

Jeri & Frank were absolutely the best. The breakfast oh my word .... Delicious! The character and atmosphere of a place is historical and comforting. Some noise, yes as to be expected; Birds, train in the distance, rain on a tin roof all of which I enjoy and can sleep soundly through however, for those light sleepers they do provide earplugs. The bed in room 1 was so very comfortable the perfect firmness yet felt like a cloud. I look forward to returning! Thank you for having us, Lisa Mason

Every space in this old school house was set up perfectly. It was quaint, comfortable and authentic. Our room was spacious, very private and the deck area with pool and hot tub was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so kind and helpful giving us some tips on what to see in the area.

The Family that owns/runs the Bed and Breakfast were super friendly and helpful

Needed to have them clean a small area of the bathroom floor, after asking they came up within 5 minutes and took care of the issue.

Everything!! It was quiet and comfortable and everything you would hope it to be! The sweetest family running the Bed and Breakfast. It is obvious how much they. Are and want your visit to be wonderful. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Loved everything!

Location is very accessible and convenient, and the Viking is so impressive.. The owner Gerry gave such a wonderful overview of the history of the schoolhouse. She seems to take great pride and joy in preserving this historical landmark. She made it very interesting on check-in and throughout our stay. She also told us so many interesting sights to see in the area. The breakfast was outstanding. It was not a buffet, but a sumptuous, fully plated meal served to us on fine china. The rooms are all unique and very comfortable. Our family had a wonderful time here and we will definitely be back.

Everything was excellent, but if I were going to say one thing, I would have liked to have been able to access the coffee or tea in the afternoon /evening.

The B&B was in a great location. The owner was very friendly and showed us how to use the lift because we are handicapped. The breakfast was very good and not too early.

Loved the charm and the mystic of the place. The place was .6 miles from town about a 15 min walk to down town. The staff was excellent and the morning breakfast was amazing. I would recommended the place to stay at.
