It was the first time in quite awhile since my husband and I took little time away from home. We just wanted the basics. Somewhere to sleep and shower. the full size frig and microwave were a plus. You could tell that the motel was a work in process- like previous holes repaired with a piece of wood vs replacing the whole wall with a new piece of drywall. But that was totally cosmetic. It was clean. Air conditioning worked. Parking lot and surroundings were kept up. Fresh smell. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Close to a variety of restaurants. And close to Turkey Run State Park, which was our destination. We will definitely return. I would like to make it a yearly get away. And you Definitely get your moneys worth!

Oddly shaped room, situated on the bend of the building. It was interesting and good for 1 person. Would not be convenient for more. Too much outside light in the room overnight.

No breakfast, the amenities were very good, I was comfortable and slept well.

The toilet was a 4 gallon flush, old fashioned and would not flush toilet paper. Thatneeds to be corrected and fixed.

This place is fine for a humble little spot. The price is fair, the room was clean, and you are right near the significant things in town.

The hot water in the shower didn't really get hot for a long time (not ideal for a cold winter stay).

Very nice and helpful!! He gave us suggestions on where to go! My mom forgot her pillow there and he said he’d send it to us! Super nice! Hoping to get the pillow!!

Nice place! Older place but you know that going in!! Fabulous location for bridge festival!

Location is ideal for Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. No frills stay is what we wanted, which allowed us to afford to stay for the entire Festival. People and accommodations were nice.

I ended staying much longer than anticipated and have enjoyed most the fact I could have my Emotional Support Animals with me. I have felt very safe being a lady, and the ability to walk to various stores. The friendliness of everyone has been true Hoosier Hospitality.

Not being able to flush toilet paper. I realize however, the plumbing system would be an expensive fix.

Exceptionally clean , very close to everything we were interested in doing. Owners are super nice and the place is super quiet !!! Second time staying here and will stay again!!!

Shower head is a little low

The price point was fantastic, and the location made it easy to go to destinations in the area.

Everything was exceptional except certain plumbing issues. (i.e. very low water pressure in the shower, and not being able to flush toilet paper.) That made it feel a little unsanitary.

We were given the endcap room which I thought was kinda cute as I was traveling with 2 kiddos. We had our own private parking area and outside sitting place. I think it was modified to be an extra room but we aren’t picky and it served it purpose for a one night stay to sleep and keep our stuff. Our bed was huge. Def not just a queen. Prob a king or Cali King.

It wasn’t awful. Served it’s purpose as a motel.
