We decided to stay in Terre Haute around 8pm Sunday evening and booked a room last minute. There was no issue with check in or availability, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with modern accents and I specifically appreciated the soft lighting as so many hotels nowadays defer to right white led lights that give me headaches. The bed was super comfy and the hotel lobby and breakfast area were beautiful. My husband smokes and the outside area was also well appointed and comfortable for him. Breakfast was delicious, with a western omelet, sausage links and patties, an oatmeal bar, and a pancake machine to list just a few of the items we enjoyed. We had a unique experience in the morning, as another patron had a seizure while operating his vehicle which caused a multiple vehicle collision in the parking lot that my husband witnessed. He alerted staff who promptly called emergency personnel and he said he was impressed with the action staff took to keep the child in the car calm and assist with police when they arrived. This also happened within 30 minutes of our checkout, and they gave us a complimentary extra hour to check out since we were delayed in our normal "exit" procedures due to all the unexpected excitement (and thankfully noone was injured!) . We would definitely stay again.

The price was a bit rich at almost $200 for one Sunday night, and I did not see any major events occurring that would have caused temporary inflation in the price. I do recognize that Holiday Inn is considered a higher end hotel, but even being closer to $150 (like $168 or something) would have seemed more on the nose for what I typically pay for these kinds of last minute stays. That said, it is certainly a beautiful, comfortable space.

Everything. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but it was being done as such to keep travels safe and comfortable. Our room was clean, comfortable, well lit and the air conditioner worked great. Plenty of towels, coffee maker, tea bags available, refrigerator and microwave. The best room set-up we have been in yet. Breakfast was good, hot food available even though the breakfast area was in the construction area. Hot sandwiches upon request, sweet rolls, bagels, hot or cold cereal, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, milk and tea, basically the works. Coffee, tea and lemon water along with other small items available all the time for guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good for us, one exit down from all the main Terra Haute one. The pool and hot tub were not available as of yet, but the hotel next door was allowing the patrons from this one to use theirs. So accommodating! We will stay here again.

Excellent customer service. Excellent breakfast choices. Comfort. Cleanliness.

It wasn't too bad, but at night there was a few loud cars ramming up their engines. It's near a busier intersection. But I wouldn't let this prevent you from staying there. Overall, it's an excellent place to stay.

We stayed in room 208. No complaints. Super clean, room smelled fresh,not overpowered with air freshener. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful, acknowledged us and greeted us with a smile!!! Breakfast was great,had plenty.

Pool being repaired, couldn't use it.😕 however there was a backup plan in place, we could have used the pool at the neighboring hotel. Also, for some reason when I went to pay my bill, the credit card kept being declined, I contacted the company, all was well with my card. Anyhow I ended up having to pay cash, $400+dollars.

Staff were polite, very quiet, nice bed & tv. Had king suite so little fridge & sink was nice. Only thing was the bathroom floor was gross. It has not been swept or mopped. To put a towel down. Otherwise very nice

They took “incidental” money out of my account the day after we got there, which I was never aware they would “take”, then when I questioned them I was shown a sign at the checkout counter that said it would be charged, not explained going in, and of course, now waiting to be refunded. They should tell you that up front!!

The breakfast was great. There were 8 of us - in 2 rooms. 4 of the 8 were children and they all found something wonderful to eat! I loved the shampoo/conditioner/ body wash racks in the bathroom. What a great idea - instead of all the tiny bottles laying around!

Room was super clean and well appointed. Everything thing I needed for a comfortable night's stay. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, and felt amazing after a whole day of driving.

Was more expensive then I normally would pay, but in the end the amenities won me over

Toilet yielded a loud squeak when flushing. Shower was heard in the bedroom just as loud as being in the shower, like there waso no insulation in the walls. Woke my wife up when I showered at 5:00am. Stayed here before an the rooms were very quiet. I will remember NOT to accept rm 217 again

Liked having an ice machine on our floor.

We got down to breakfast about 8:45am, and most of the buffet items were low or out. They were refreshed a few minutes later, but we had already selected our items from what was left and sat down. So we weren't really able to take advantage of the refresh. It should have been about 10 minutes earlier.
