April at the front desk was so kind and knowledgeable about the area.

I do not recommend booking this hotel through Booking.com. I booked through the site and when I got there for check-in they didn't have any record of my booking. I had to pay for an additional room and I am waiting for Booking.com to respond to my customer service ticket for a refund as the owner told me I'll need to work it out with the site.

The breakfast is minimal. Fruit, oatmeal, nothing hot, however the fruit was fresh and we could take it on the road. Good, hot coffee. Cold juice. The beds are comfortable and the room was quite large with a jacuzzi tub. The fridge was large and the heater worked well.

Of course, a hot breakfast is better, but we knew going it what we would get, so no surprises. Good coffee, and they have a microwave, so if you brought your own food, you could heat it up. TV selection wasn't great.

The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was ok but not really any hot food but oatmeal. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Only ice maker was on the first floor and they could use some vending machines for drinks and snacks. The pool was not filled or ready to use.

It was very clean and the owners were exceptionally nice. I made a mistake on my reservation and she helped me fix it. It was easy access to all the Parks and fishing areas. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary there. If you're not into all the fancy fancy stuff and just want a clean, nice place to stay that's quiet, this is your place.

It was clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice and friendly. I made a mistake on my reservation and they helped me fix it and got me an even nicer room.. If you want somewhere to stay that isn't all fancy, but comfortable and extremely clean and easy to get to all the Parks so my husband could fish! We had a wonderful stay, this is your place.

Breakfast was disappointing. We ended up going out twice for our breakfast. Coffee was good. But should have been offered longer in the morning. People running the hotel were nice. Accommodating for room service. We liked that it was close to Rockville Festival.

Location was great. A/c worked well. I really appreciate having a fridge in the room!

The rug in my room was really wearing thin, so that the tack strip at the bathroom door had tacks poking out. Had to watch out not to step on that.

It was quaint and clean. Had the needed basics and plenty of room. Very close to our destination (Covered Bridge Festival).

I think the only thing that could be improved is the luggage carriers. They are a little small and flimsy.

The location was great to enjoy all the Cover Bridge Festival. Very quiet hotel.

The Royal Inn was very clean. Just in need of some updating. Bathroom really is need of an exhaust fan, taller toilets & handicap bars in tub area.

Loved the location. The cleanliness of the facility and room. The friendly staff.

I disliked that the pool was out of service and seems to have been that way for a while. The pool is currently being advertised as an amenity on the Bookings website.
