The breakfast was okay. I like the variety of food items offered. I would like a little more like waffles or something. I also liked how clean and simple the rooms are. I asked to change one of our rooms from a king bed to two queens. They were able to accommodate us despite a full hotel.

People in the room above us obviously had kids and they were running around their room and stomping, causing a lot of noise in our room. But that was not something that was the fault of the hotel. They were full of families staying there for a softball tournament.

The location was perfect as we were traveling home from a western vacation. The property was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was also quite spacious, nice open shower, and provided all of the toiletries needed.

Our only issue was the that the air conditioner did not regulate well. We adjusted it down but the room stayed warm. An issue we were going to address with the front desk but did not have an opportunity before our early departure.

Breakfast was excellent great coffee ☕, bed very comfy.

We had lots problem with the new technology to watch our favorite news but you did have our least news channel, CNN.why not all news channel. Oh yeah...that streaming thing on tv to connect to our phones, no one to help us with that. Shower curtain was not long enough that made the floors wet which we used lots of towels on the. Floors so we won't fall.

It was different than usual. coffee makers were a bit confusing at first, but good coffee was enjoyed. Jimmie Dean sandwiches were ok and better than eggs in a bucket and soggy sausage. Open area was comfortable.

Check-in was confusing. Several people standing in line to be waited on and noone was present except house maids that didn't speak English. These people had already checked in and could not get into their rooms as the locks were malfunctioning. When I finally got to the desk clerk, it took forever to get lock card and it too did not work. I had to go through 4 cards to find one that worked.

Staff was great. Bed was very comfortable. I woke up to the smell of breakfast and it was just right to start my day.

The corner of my room, by the air conditioner needed to be swept. Lots of dirt in the corner.

Great location, plenty of parking. Close to interstate, but quiet! Hotel was clean and front desk staff were very welcoming. Room was clean, not fussy, and well-appointed. Bed was comfortable. Several choices for breakfast. Kam, front desk employee, was kind enough to come to our room to help with tv.

Our stay was great, check-in to check-out.

Our kids live in CO, so Hays is the perfect place to spend the night as we travel from Lee's Summit, MO. The hotel is dog-friendly which works for us. We plan to stay here every time we make the trip to CO.

I cannot think of anything we didn't like. I suppose I could ask for a large breakfast buffet but that isn't what Avid is offering. There are omelettes, bagels, juice, etc which is fine to get us back on the road.

I like that it was pet friendly. It was right off the highway. Easy to get to after a long trip and easy to get out. Lots of food around the hotel.

I tried to use the shower gel and the apparatus fell off the wall. Apparently, it's a recurring thing.

It was very clean. It was well located. The best hotel bed we’ve ever stayed. Dark quiet clean. Perfect for an overnight stay.

It was a bit austere, would not have suited us for more than overnight as we use a microwave for longer stays. There was a lot of partying in the lobby when we came in. But I room was quiet.

A nice hotel in a good area. The staff were very pleasant and the beds were comfy. The salt pool was great, but supposed to be heated and wasn't, so we didn't stay in long! The shower was great and the hotel provided shampoo/conditioner etc. Breakfast was nice but fairly limited and checkout was easy! A nice little place

Our bathroom had A LOT of someone else's hair all over it, so I had to do a bit of wiping down of surfaces myself which was a shame.
