This motor lodge is so charming. The courtyard has a pool and a fire pit area where you can toast marshmallows for s’mores. The rooms are simple but with an upscale feel. There’s nice toiletries and the beds and bedding are divine. It’s as clean as clean can get. The staff is superb.

The motor lodge is older and some areas have been updated. The first room they put us in had a smell that was musty. I have asthma. So that was not working for me. They went over and above to make me happy. And I was happy.

At lot of people frown when you say motor lodge or motel, but let me tell you they are missing out on this gem! Amber and Shauna we absolutely wonderful! Always had a smile and eager to help! The rooms are clean and oh so comfortable. The housekeeping staff were great as well. Seriously can't wait to stay here again.

Everything the grounds are very well  manicured, and the garden is very calming and peaceful. Our rooms were amazing. Once I figured out how to work the coffee machine always good. I really appreciate you people and the two ladies that helped get me there and I thank you for all your hard work dedication and commitment in helping me and my family get to Kentucky. It’s just sad and it sucks that we didn’t get to spend the whole entire time. It would’ve been fine, but you will be seeing us soon and thank you for everything and I highly recommend this hotel to anybody, and to me the ambience of it all it’s five star 

There is nothing to change

It was a very cute older style motel that took the wife and I back to our childhood. The property was very nice and you could tell the owners have put their souls into the remodel. The rooms were nice and clean , the wife did complain about a little musty smell but overall we loved it and look forward to coming back.

The style of the lodge was great. We loved the courtyard and the bar.

The first night, our room did not have a remote for the television. I'm not sure where they were. The staff gave us the one from the lobby. Also, the batteries in the smoke detector went off every few minutes. The staff fixed these issues right away. Thanks for that!

The lodge was close to our event. We were on the first floor (daughter has a medical alert service dog) The staff were very friendly and nice!! The room was very clean with retro decos. We felt safe walking around.

The rooms were a little dark even with all the lights turned on. We happened to be visiting Bardstown at the same time the Kentucky derby was going on in Louisville. The rooms were over priced due to that event.

Staff was outstanding, super friendly and welcoming. I wish I'd have had better weather to enjoy the outside amenities, especially the pool and fire pits in the courtyard, but it rained the whole time. Definitely plan to go back.

Room was a little dated, but still clean and comfortable

Great location. Nice remodel of an older property.

We had a ground level room and got a lot of parking lot noise at all hours. Employees were hard to find. Asked about the s’mores during the evening and was told “I’d have to make them” but then the employee disappeared again and no s’mores. Another guest helped us find the supplies for the fire pit.

Super cute upgraded 1950s motor lodge. The Keurig in the room was very nice! Beds were comfortable. Location was great.

We were there right after the holidays so the hotel wasn’t super busy, yet they put all the guests staying there in rooms right next to each other.

I loved the pool and bar area. The vibe of the room was cool. It was convenient to attractions, restaurants, and shops in Bardstown. The staff was accommodating and upbeat. The room was clean and contained waters, makeup removers, small refrigerator, and coffee maker.

The room smelled a little musty and had some condensation/ water pooling with the air conditioning unit. The room was on the smaller side for over $200 a night.
