As a fan of classic, pull up and enter from the outside motels, I specifically sought this one out over many others. The newer walk inside, and because-of-insurance-reasons unopenable windows, mainly a USA drawback, just are horrific. Decades of the highest ritzy hotels in 30 countries on the corporate dime, and I prefer the classic motel. Huge window that you pull the curtain over. Step right out. Peaceful lake vicinity location. Really nothing around, so bear that in mind.

Would have preferred a heavy blanket option. I arrived past 2 a.m., and didn't think to ask front desk. So I just wore a sweater. That's doable.

We liked everything. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was super comfortable. It was pet friendly which was awesome for us. Free parking was awesome and it also has a pool. in the morning there is free breakfast, our toddler loved the waffles. And the woman in the lobby is also very kind and very helpful. 10/10 would definitely come back and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay!
