They have a wonderful swimming pool and ambiance in the hotel and even have a restaurant. Hotel is in the main part of town, so the location is perfect. Fairly clean and well kept.

The maid knocked on my door both mornings i was there at 9am. The first morning, i was already awake so i didn't really mind. The second morning, i had a late check out and wanted to sleep in. She knocked on the door at 9:00am sharp. I was kind of irritated. They should NOT knock before 10:30 in any case. Check out is normally 11:00am, but my late check out was at 1:00pm. I figured they would let housekeeping know that!

The location was great, the amenities were part of why I booked this hotel. We did use the pool and the hot tub. The pool was supposed to be heated, however, it was rather cool. Also, the website indicates the Complimentary Breakfast is included with room. That made the rate even a better value. HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT TRUE. BREAKFAST WAS AVAILABLE, BUT YOU HAD TO PAY FOR IT!! This needs to be changed.....

The fact that the website says that breakfast is included.....AND IT IS NOT! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BREAKFAST, IT IS NOT COMPLIMENTARY AS INDICATED. That made the value of the room a little high. I did point this out to the staff and they are aware of this mistake. Apparently, it had been on the website incorrectly for quite some time. I did eat breakfast and it cost the 2 of us almost $30.

The Hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff provided great Customer Service also. The pool extended to the outdoors, which was awesome, and I loved the fact that the hotel had a restaurant that served all the food I loved. The prices were very affordable. I had no complaints at all!! The hotel design was very beautiful. I felt like I was on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. I just wish the Hot Tub was working during my stay, but I will be returning again for sure.

I didn’t try the breakfast there, it was not complimentary and it appeared to be more of a snack bar than a breakfast I would wish to pay for.

The toilet set so low to the ground that I had to help my 91 year old dad stand up. The ATM machine had apparently been giving people problems for several weeks and they didn’t put a sign on it. Luckily when I unplugged the machine it released my card. The phone number to call for problems with the machine apparently went to a company that didn’t service that machine. I had requested a room with a short walk from the parking lot due to my dad’s age and received a confirmation that they could accommodate it and then we were put in a room almost as far from the doors as we could get.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament for the weekend. It was so nice that we decided to stay an extra night. It is in a great location. It is just minutes away from Walmart & and a lot of fast food places. This property was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, pool & hot tub was amazing bonus. They have a restaurant and bar inside the hotel. All in all this place did not disappoint.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. This place is amazing.

The staff was exceptionally kind. Young lady at front desk was sweet and helpful. Hotel was very clean! Quiet and beautifully decorated. Had all the amenities available. Loved the hot tub. Would be a great venue for events and your guests could stay at the hotel. We will be returning as we also loved the people in Paintsville. Welcomed us with kindness.

I understand the price is competitive with other hotels but wished it could have come in a little lower on cost. Still worth it and enjoyed our stay overnight.

I loved everything about our stay at this hotel. I was traveling alone with my two children and felt so safe. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect and made us feel so welcomed. The entire hotel is so beautiful from the gorgeous lobby to huge indoor outdoor swim through pool to our spacious, comfortable room. I can not say enough positive things about this property. We will definitely be returning!

There was nothing it didn’t like. This property was absolutely perfect.

The openness of the Hotel, all the common areas with comfortable chairs in the atrium and the random tables, chairs and couches in the upper areas are a great option when with a small group to socialize outside of your room setting. ALL of the staff from the desk to housekeeping to restaurant & lounge staff to maintenance and janitorial (and I interacted with all) were great. Steph at the front desk is perfect for that job. The current management has done a great job of bringing the place back into its original grander.

for the room rate, I was disappointed that a complimentary breakfast was not offered, but I do get it, with having a full-service restaurant in house.

The beds were extremely comfortable, I didn't have one complaint. The only I wish is that the breakfast was a buffet store as I had places to be early in the AM and wasn't able to grab breakfast quickly and head out each morning. Its great that they bring you menus and bring your breakfast, I just feel a good buffet is more accessible for many. I didn't see a lot of people eating breakfast every morning and this must be why.

Loved the Christmas Decorations and the Nativity scene out front.

Outdated wiring with need of more convenient plug ins/USB ports etc. And clock had not been updated to daylight savings time so I rushed in a hurry to get to work thinking I was an hour behind schedule only to realize later when I arrived at my work one hour early 🫤
